We were in Morrisons earlier in the day. I asked one of the assistants if she could get mensomething from the shop floor, I was at the checkout. The lady was so nice, she had got me exactly what I wanted. Her name was Maireanne. The cashier was also helpful, think her name was Claire. The staff are always courteous and helpful. Merry Christmas to you all.
A good sized inner city supermarket. Some good meats and vegetables, plus the rest you'd expect. Fairly large beers, wines and spirits selection for the size of the store. Remember, only 30 minutes parking is free, but reasonably priced up to three hours and you get the parking fee refunded against your shopping in store - currently 3 hours free 2024. Refitted not long ago which does give the impression of a smaller stock range now.
Visited here and was pretty disappointed. The salad bar is good but the shelves were poorly stocked and as there was only one manned checkout, we used self serve. There was one member of staff helping if there was a problem and she was very busy. Don't think I'd rush back.
Visited with my disabled mother and she had to use the disabled toilet. It stunk of stale urine which was stomach turning. I pointed it out to a member of staff who was dismissive and said the toilets were checked regularly. Clearly the toilets are not being cleaned thoroughly I refuse to believe Morrisons staff have no sense of smell. FYI Staff use these toilets as well.
Went into this branch for the first time to purchase cold and flu tablets. Got refused the purchase because I didn’t have ID. the staff need to have better training on age restrictions of things as I am 30 and the legal age to buy paracetamol is 16..nI would completely understand asking for ID if I was buying alcohol based products but it’s an absolute joke to ID someone for paracetamol.
