Came here to do some shopping at 1.30pm and left at 1.45. Went back at 8.30 and left at 8.50 on the same day. Guess what I got a parking ticket for staying 7 hours. Spoke to manager in store who said would help but hasn't helped at all. I can prove I wasn't parked there using my Google timeline and bank details which I have shown to the store and sent to tesco but it's like talking to a brick wall. Parking company doesn't want to know. You know what tesco I used to shop with you all the time but not any more. You parking greed has cost you far more than the measly charge that I will not be paying and as soon as the judge sees the evidence you will lose. You are going to drag a working person who has done nothing wrong to court for a 100 quid ticket that they don't owe. Screw you tesco
Staff can’t help but have a power trip! A friend of mine was shopping with me and had tried to buy herself some booze while I was also purchasing something on another till. She is and looks over 25 and was still ID’d which isn’t a bad thing however when she went back because they saw us walk out together when she left to go get her ID from our car they refused to serve her despite her now having proof of her age because we left the store together and I didn’t return with her despite having shopped separately from her. The staff even said that they could tell she was over the legal age that because I did not return with her to verify my age they couldn’t sell her the drink. I wasn’t even the one trying to purchase the drink. I understand these regulations are in place for a reason but when you’re not even purchasing something together then my ID is a mute point. What would have happened if my friend had been shopping with her little boy? Would she have been refused sale because he was underage despite the drink being for her and her alone?!
4 members of staff stood about the self check out talking between themselves, no staff present at the clothes section. Reluctant to help. They Sent for someone and then went back to stand talking about private home things. Wondering what the staff are actully paid for?
Thank you Correen, Chef and staff at Tesco Cafe. Thoroughly brilliant service. Bacon perfectly crispy on a soft cob! Lovely cup of tea too! Clean surroundings and very pleasant!
