Did grocery shopping at Carmarthen,Wales Tesco Extra today. That was fine; however, when my wife and I went upstairs for a coffee and scone, we were very disappointed. Coffee was excellent but both scones were dry/stale. When I asked the server to warm them up in the microwave, I was told she couldn't/wouldn't do that. No explanation, just no. If this is store policy, then very poor customer service indeed.
Due to refurbishment of the store in Carmarthen my mother who is houebound relies on her online weekly delivery and didn’t have milk in her order . Dan who delivered to her went above and beond and returned to her at the end of his shift with some milk. What an amazing person . Thank you
Went in as a big group, eight of us. All got beers, all over age. One was 46, two were 27 and the rest were 18/29. We all gave our ids apart from 46 and 27 who didn't have them. They refused service for us all because 27 who looks over 30 didn't have his. No compromise at all. All over £100 worth of product we were buying not allowed. Went to Morrisons so much better
Traveling from Newport to Tenby we nipped into this Tesco for a break from driving, with a very tired and poorly 2 year old in hand we picked up a couple of meal deals and in all the chaos with our daughter I went to pick up my coffee by the lid and it came away from the cup causing a spillage!!nnThree members off staff sprung into action checking my daughter was okay that noone was burned, they cleaned up and replaced all our items and the spilled coffee, they were all great and in no way made me feel awkward having caused all this..nnThank you all
