We stayed here the night before our wedding and the staff were so incredibly helpful - especially Raven and Christian who were brilliant! A huge shout out to them as they went the extra mile and really made our stay special. The restaurant in the evening was excellent and so were the waiters and staff the chicken was delicious - special compliments to the chef. The hotel itself is wonderful and we just wouldn't stay anywhere else in Stafford. An awesome hotel with impeccable staff - perfect! Thank you so much.
Amazing old hotel. Gorgeous quirky building. Really enjoyed our short break. Very reasonable. Very clean. Great food. Great staff. Central location with safe private parking. Would definitely stay here again. Rooms: Very clean with a very comfortable bed. Great bathroom too. Food & drinks: Massive full english breakfast perfectly cooked. I have a good appetite but too much for me. Gorgeous coffee too.
Had a small, private, morning reception. We were well looked after by a very helpful waitress. The kitchen was struggling with unforeseen problems but they still managed to cater for us. Right in the centre of Stafford, well placed for what we required.
I had a lovely stay in this hotel. Great food, friendly staff and a good price for my stay there. The room was lovely. I especially like the DAB Radio in the room, as well as a big screen TV. A nice surprise for a radio enthusiast. I look forward to returning there when I'm back in the Midlands - hopefully in the not too distant future.
Great hotel, staff very friendly, located in town centre was going to a gig at the redrum which was a 2 min walk away. Room was spotless bed was so comfy powerful shower, had a fantastic breakfast before leaving plenty of choice, ample parking at back of hotel all in all a fantastic hotel and if I'm ever in Stafford again I'll stay there again
Did not stay but visited the Restaurant. First time and the meal was beautiful, staff were attentive and service good. Will definately be visiting again but more dairy free or vegan deserts are needed as sorbet is not a desert option.Service: 4/5
Great venue for Don's 80th. Good party food. The staff looked after us very well. How refreshing to have a pint of beer that didn't give you frost bite when you held the glass.
Fabulous Sunday lunch and highly recommend. A big thank you for all the help/support with our son Jake during an allergic reaction the team and management amazing. Would recommend to family and friends. That just little bit special for that treat. See you again soon and thank you to the team/management. Chris,Wendy & Jake
Decided to take some for lunch during half term. Have been previously, the food, decor and building are fab so decided to make a return visit. Sons meal was great off child menu. However, I ordered steak, unusual for me but found menu a little lacking. It came overdone and burnt. I did mention it to pass onto kitchen. Waiting on staff did apologise. Overall felt totally underwhelmed by food, menu and ambiance. Ps take a cloth, table very sticky, menu along with arms were sticking to it!! Needless to say from today's visit I won't be returning.
The front entrance is steep and slippery. Manual doors with a narrow opening. We had someone in a wheelchair and couldnt manage to open both doors and get over the bump without assistance from another customer. This door needs the easy installation of an automatic handicap option to open the door. This entrance prevents wheelchair users access. In this day and age this is unacceptable.
