Mission

In our experience, the wine we see in the UK tends be from the same producers, and the same handful of grape varieties, over and over again. We’ve made it our job to bring the work of small, often award-winning producers who simply don’t make wine in enough quantities to attract the fat cats that control our wine supply.

It’s more important for us that wine accentuates the land that it came from rather than fitting into internationally-marketable models – the term, of course, is ‘terroir’. We like to champion indigenous varieties, whilst not ignoring the fact that international varieties often express terroir just as well.
