Dead Wax Social is a brand new pub in Bond Street that has the vinyl record at its heart and the city's independent music business as its inspiration. The important creative and community role that the independent record store has always played in Brighton's history will be celebrated at DWS along with the unique creative output of the city's indie labels. The decor will be an homage to the record album, record shop and record label and all the music played will be from vinyl records only.
For the drink offering, we will be serving a wide range of draft and bottled craft and cask beers. The food offering will be the top quality pizzas, crafted on site with sourdough bases, cut to 7” and 12” sizes and baked in the pubs own "pressing plant" kitchen. Discounts will be offered to everyone involved in Brighton's music industry and the doors will always be open for record launches, record fairs and showcases.
