Visited to see play performance based on world war combined with tour of the temple and witnessing of the turning of the page of the book of Remembrance. Particularly moving as was in the week of Remembrance. Volunteer guide gave a very interesting tour. Fascinating history.
Had a birthday celebrations in here and the hall really is amazing. Lots of room, high ceilings, stage, dancefloor and dont get me started on it's historical importance. Highly recommend.
Lovely building but freezing cold for winter concert venue. I don't know how the musicians managed to perform.

We had a big Launch event here- the venue was fantastic, the catering was superb and they couldn't have done more to help. Thoroughly recommend.

We got married here in March 2019. It was really lovely and our guests really enjoyed the venue - we got some beautiful dramatic photos in the marble hall and everyone enjoyed the drinks reception. Ian in particular was stellar - he was there at all our viewings and nothing was too much trouble. He was also the absolute embodiment of calm when half our guests and the groom got stuck in Six Nations traffic and were delayed by almost an hour. Great experience and really stunning venue. Our only disappointment was that between booking and our wedding, a lot of panels and photos were out up in the hall and reception areas. They are interesting panels about the building's history, but they take away from the architectural simplicity of the venue that we loved and had a negative impact on some of our photos - it is a shame that they are not removable. But this is a very minor point - overall it was an excellent and reasonably priced venue. Would strongly recommend. And it's an absolute bonus that your money goes to the charity that runs the temple, so will go towards keeping this beautiful place up and running!
