Lovely park with meandering paths. Lots of nice views and plenty of benches to pause at. Nice to see litter bins strategically placed and kept empty. Love walk. Recommended.

Used to love the place. Now it's more like a Motorcross park and full of glass. Council abandoned it yet again. Such a shame

Fantastic resource in the middle of a heavily built up area - donated in perpetuity to the people of South Shields to be maintained as an open and accessible space in recognition of their bravery in the war. Recognised War Memorial, sports and leisure fields, and nature reserve.

Beautiful place to walk with lots of wildlife rabbits foxes grouse and many more. Fantastic fields for the children to play also has a leisure centre skate park and all weather pitches with swings and slides for the younger ones in a safe closed area
