Wow, wow and WOW! What a superb new karting and crazy golf set up! We did a 50 lap race, then had coffee, snack, then did the crazy golf. Brilliant. Clean, crisp facilities. Friendly staff and fully electric karts! Give it a go!
Newly revamped facility, including new very fast electric Karts - they have even boost buttons, it's very impressive compared to the old kit. I would say they are equal in speed and power to the karts found at larger outdoor tracks. Enough power to drift entire corner sections without loss of speed. The track it's self is also a favourite, it spans two floors which is great because there is a steep up hill section and and down hill section, there are also a mix every type turn you would find on a real race track. I highly recommend this place, the price point is great too let's hope they don't put the price up. It's now more than just a karting track, they have a games area, mini golf and a few other things to the family entertained while the racers are racing. The gear is all provided. Safety briefing is quick. Anyone at any level can drive. It's a safe place with lots of staff on hand.
We went here for my sons birthday, the place is clean and the team are great, helpful and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Will recommend this place to everyone and will definitely be back. Thank you for a brilliant experience!
The core racing experience was great. We had 12 total drivers during our session, 8 of which was the group I was a part of. I think too many more and it would have been a bit too crowded, especially as the ranking is based on lap time and not position with the other drivers. Naturally I still had some laps where it wasn't just me and the track, and so it was still fun but not optimal if you really care about your lap time. Would only really bother me if I visited regularly. For the mini-golf, we were informed that we may go round as many times as we wanted as long as we didn't do the final hole that takes the ball. We went around at a reasonable pace, not slow, not fast, just enjoying it. It was our first go around and I think when we reached hole 6 we were informed we had 10-15 minutes left and we had to leave because of a children's birthday party. When about half of the group had finished hole 7, we were told to take our last few shots. This is the sort of thing I would expect if we hadn't at least paid to go around once, except of course, we had - and the fact we had been told prior, that we could take our time and go round multiple times. Just seemed a bit off. So it's no biggie but if I come with groups in the future I'll be at least letting them know this can happen and will make a decision from there. All in all though, a worthwhile experience and I hope to visit again. I'm still giving 5 stars as the place seems really great over all. Cheers.
Excellent fun, great carts, pleasant atmosphere, well organised but a couple two many karts out at one go and hairy helmet aggressive drivers from another group slightly spoilt our session.
Super friendly team giving a great experience here. First time for me and an excited but nervous 8yo. Every team member we met was kind and helpful, nothing was too much bother, and as a consequence we had a fantastic time. Two fifteen minute sessions with a break in-between was ideal for us and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I was really impressed from start to finish.
Good clean environment. Nice and brand new . And friendly staff. But that's where it ends. 1 the track time was short and there was a lot of yellows. There was a lot of kids on track and the speed difference was crazy. They started the timer before I got on track. And it seems to me we had 10 minutes sessions. My kids was 12 and was older enough to go in the adults karts . But got put in the kids karts. And for £ 113 pounds fir 3 people. Didn't seem good value for money for 15 to 20 minutes max on track. Very disappointed as I have heard good things about this place. Drinks was expensive. £ 8.50 for 3 cokes . And we didn't entertain the food. Poor lighting in the car park at night time. I'm not happy at all . So this is why I gave 2 stars
Doing some family taxi driving in Southampton I thought I’d drop in to see life on the other side I work for a kart track elsewhere. Very impressed with not only the facilities but the attitude of all the staff, let’s hope this isn’t opening night enthusiasm. First time in electric karts and was not disappointed, every indoor track needs these as the acceleration is quick! The only dark cloud was they were running slightly late hence I had to go before my last session but as I said to the Marshall I wasn’t too upset as I’d had 30 minutes for £35 odd. Keep up the good work and I’ll be back for my next busman’s holiday.
Having visited the gosport track previously the Eastleigh/Southampton track is very clean modern, staff were most helpful and pleasant. The first of the two sessions were fantastic the electric karts are quick and responsive the first session was great unfortunately the second session wasn’t so good the kart I had for the second session wasn’t in good order as I found during the race everything seems good to start but once things got going every time I turned left more then 45’ the Kart cut out like it was resetting or something then it would start off again I thought that maybe it was just my driving and maybe a one off but this happen throughout the race so any time I was competing for the racing in to a corner the kart would cut out into the corner/hairpin. I did speak with a member of the staff after that session had finished who was directing the session who spoke to a engineer/ mechanic I didn’t say anything mid race as I didn’t think anything could be done mode race and it took a few laps to work out it was the kart and nit my driving I had no problems in the first session which was great.
Had a great refurbishment in October ‘22, vastly improved from the previous set up, arcades, crazy golf, bar and electric karts. Top stuff.
