I have spent many an hour on the phone 12 trying to sort out my tax as they have completely messed it up for the past two yes two years. I put in an complaint against them in Aug of last year and have been consistently told, ''WE ARE PROCESSING IT'' and then told yesterday I will get the department to process it, so have been lied to for the last 5 months. So when they think you owe them money they just change your tax code and away the highwaymen go with your money, but when you try and get it sorted the highwaymen cannot be seen for dust, if i did my job the way they did theirs i would of been sacked months ago, They need to get themselves sorted and stop messing with peoples lives and livelihoods.
Just wasted 3 hours of my life. Being cut off twice, waiting nearly an hour a time on hold to get through to the right department. Explaining in length the issue I have. I doubt I will get back to the same person again who was dealing with my issue. I have given up today. I guess I will just have to waste more time tomorrow. Just a nightmare, frustrated, and see this is happening a lot to people. No apologies. Unhelpful. I feel no stars would reflect my experience today.
If I could score a zero I would. I hold for over a hour each time then it cuts you off. Or you get through and without speaking they put the phone down. I have been trying to speak with someone for 3 weeks! Absolute shambles
Very rude and unprofessional talking all over you on the phone. Can't get a word in. Also don't seem to be on your side as had to spend alot of time explaining an injury that happened to me at work and how my employer won't give me sick pay. Eventually they sent me the forms i needed.
After few few times call and holding the phone every time for 55 minutes no one answers. Horrible. You should close the line do not wast peoples time stupid hmrc
This is an absolute joke been waiting 45 mins still not through to anyone I used to work in customer service for Amazon and even at our busiest times no one would wait more then 20 mins because we had the workforce I bet there’s 1 poor person on the line while the rest of them are chilling in the break room.
Very bad customer service. Im very generous in giving 1 star. Waiting 1 hour on hold then they just cut me off in 3 occasions in one day. I can't believe this is HMRC England. Worst service ever in the world. Just wanted to get people's money, never bothered to help.
Very poor service. Called the office several times, wait for about 50 mins, no one answered the phone.
They cut the call 1hr after u r on the line .. they do this by saying let me put u on hold i need to clarify smth with my colleague. Then drop the call.
40 fudging minutes waiting time on the phone! i have called them few times and all took exactly 40 minutes to answer, ridiculous customer service! staff are kind but we cant wait in the line whole that time!!!
