This is a nice, relaxing part of Skelmersdale town centre. The voluntary groups have done a great job at freeing the rivers of pollution. Bring walking boots, it gets a bit muddy in places! I hope the Tawd Valley Park survives the new town centre plans.

Great stretch of countryside that runs through Skelmersdale. River, ponds, walkways and great variety of wildlife. Good for dog walkers.

Need to have some forestry management as so of the walkways are dangerous when wet
