Taunton Leisure are outdoor equipment specialist. They stock a wide range of equipment to suit your every need when venturing outdoors and into the wild. With everything on show and plenty of friendly, helpful staff on hand to give you the guidance and advice you need. On our visit we were assisted by a young lad called Sebastian, 5 star treatment from him too and he ensured that we had the right item for the job. Very knowledgeable. Thank you Sebastian. Definitely worth a visit here instead of somewhere like Go outdoors and they clearly know their stuff. Brilliant service, excellent choice. Another visit to Taunton leisure today. We actually went to buy some hiking shoes and get some advice on kit for a long distance walk. The service here was brilliant. Not only did we have comprehensive and detailed comparisons with multiple brands for the items we were looking at, we were also given pros and cons for each item. Our store rep was exceptional and knew his stuff. With loads of personal experience to draw from, we felt like we were getting the best honest unbiased advice we could get. Now that us what you want from a store.
I can't speak highly enough of Taunton Leisure! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with exceptional customer service. The staff went above and beyond to help me find exactly what I needed. Their range of products is extensive, catering to every outdoor adventure imaginable. Plus, their convenient location makes it easy to pop in whenever I'm in the area. Highly recommended for all outdoor enthusiasts!
Great service ! We visited in person, based on previous, very satisfactory mail order service, to purchase a rucksack. We ended up buying two ! Simon really knew his stuff, ensuring the bags were the right size for us, adjusting where necessary, advising on what was available. Would definitely shop there again.
Helpful, knowledgeable, friendly staff. Willing to share their knowledge and experience to help us make an informed choice on the outdoor equipment we were purchasing. Even willing to put up a tent instore so we see if it was large enough. Amazing all round experience, we returned the following day to purchase more equipment. And will be back for more!
Extremely helpful both over a previous purchase and also with selling me a new pair of walking boots. The epitome of a well run and user-friendly business.
I had been looking for a specific spec rucksack for a while and despite loads of browsing not found it. Until I came across Taunton Leisure. The helpful chap immediately presented me with three options. Physical ones not images on the web. He was super knowledgeable and the shop really well stocked with leading brands. I will be going back. Only downside is its a bit of a walk from centre of town when its raining, but it's well worth it
I was after a new pair of boots which I've had plenty of different pairs .... I came into the Taunton branch and was approached by Peter who asked me my needs and budget. Then went through the options and measured my feet, then got about 7 pairs of boots out and tried them all on and walked around the store and bunny hopped down slopes and walking up gradients.... it took about 90 minutes but I walked out with a new pair of perfectly measured Boots ! I've worn them around the house and am still happy with my purchase! Thanks Taunton Leisure and i will be bringing the wife down when her boots need replacing quite soon
A really great shopping experience! It had been over 30 years since I last bought walking boots which says more about the quality of the boots that I originally bought, than my lack of walking. I met a delightful team member called Dominic, who was extremely helpful, patient and very informative. Fantastic service, great quality products and highly recommended!
Taunton Leisure had a great selection of proper hiking gear. Great service. I had my feet properly measured and found hiking boots that fit. I will definitely be going there again. Thoroughly recommended.
What a fantastic experience. I went in to buy some new hiking shoes today. I didn't catch the guy's name that helped me but he was incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I will definitely be back to purchase more goods from this shop. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for some advice or support regarding outdoor equipment.
