I read a few things on here from fellow desi folk that had me worried about visiting this pub - restaurant, but I'm glad I still went here regardless.nnVisited on a weekday lunchtime. Was getting lively around then but not crazily busy, which is good. Staff were great, very polite and attentive.nnThe Large Mixed Grill surprised me as it is the most equally balanced one I've had, not overloaded with wings like most of them, and four lamb chops were on it! The only downside is you have to pay extra if you want fish on there. That said, they accidentally put a piece of salmon on mine so I got lucky!nnBeer selection is good, I found one I really liked so had a cheeky 2nd pint. I have a Solihull BID card so managed to get 10% knocked off the bill.
This was the first time trying this place and will be definitely coming back!nFood was all fantastic, would definitely recommend the bhajis!nAnd the 'naan slider' was much bigger than expected - we definitely ordered too much!nAnd such good value for money!nWon't be long until we are back!
Had a great time with friends, food quality and quantity was just right. Online booking was easy and had confirmation, without delay. Good choice of craft beers to complement the food. Thank you to Shakshi, for her help with the menu choice.
Lady who served us was lovely, genuine and very helpful. I asked about gluten free beer battered bhajis that are on the menu but was told not to have them, which is always good advice if unsure!nI have also now noticed a coeliac menu and they are not listed so it's good that I was advised not to eat them. Overall a good experience, good was lovely, staff were lively and not too expensive! Will definitely be returning.
Great food and a really good selection of beers. It lives up to the name! The food comes in generous portions, and everything was very tasty. All of the meats on the mixed grill are perfectly cooked and juicy AF. Very impressed.
