Excellent fillet steak. Bought locally when on holiday. Highly recommend this butcher. Spotlessly clean too. Sausages very tasty.

Great service, excellent produce, fabulous prices. Always a friendly welcome, staff are all fabulously friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you want good local produce that cooks great, taste devine with no waste and you don't need to take out a mortgage to pay for it!!
Really disappointed with our visit today. I had personally been really looking forward to supporting this local business. On arrival, my wife and two children entered, all in face coverings as required, as I entered at the end of the line again in a face covering I was told only one customer was allowed in at any one time. I explained we were a family/household unit, to be told "regardless, you'll have to wait outside". I completely accept the restrictions in place in the current covid situation, but have never been refused entrance as part of a family/household unit! I left and sat in the car. My wife came out to say I could go in now to choose what I wanted for our BBQ, I said no, as I felt that was more of a risk to the shop owner than allowing a family unit in. Why allow a mother and her two children in, but not the father? Why not say the mother only, and not allow the kids in? Why excuse a 2nd adult from the same family? If other customers had been in the store, I would have understood. But it was just us, all in face coverings! That really is stretching covid regulations/guidance. So sadly, this local business lost out on a sale, as we planned a final family BBQ before leaving Cornwall.
Just enjoyed the Rib of Beef we purchased from Tamar Valley Meats and can honestly say it was the best Rib of Beef we have ever tasted. That also goes for the half of Lamb and pork we had last year. This butcher is superb. Thank you.
Helpful staff and farm assured meat, it comes from Cornish farms just down the road. I've even met the farmer and his wife!! Great sausages and burgers. I have never been dissapointed.
Great range of meats from local farms and they taste great too.
Always great service with a smile and cooking advice if you ask. This is my go-to place for all my family meat, fresh and cut there and then to whatever size you need.
