Visit on a Saturday and naturally it will be busy, I expected it, everyone expected it, everyone that is apart from store management who hadn't arranged enough staff to assist customers with the 12 self service points.nn6 machines open, that's 50% capacity. Imagine if the rest of the country decided to operate the same way to save money?!
Mandy behind the till was very rude with the inconvenience today as the way she spoke to me came off quite discriminatory and was making snarky comments to other co workers. I wouldve been more than happy to wait but she was very rude when telling me that my friends would have to come back to the shop. If she had been polite about the situation I wouldn’t be doing this but the way I was spoken to left me very in happy
The car park can be quite frustrating. Parent and child spaces are frequently taken by people who clearly aren’t using them as intended, and there doesn’t seem to be much enforcement.nnThe exit barriers are the biggest problem. Having to scan a receipt just to leave feels excessive and makes the whole experience more awkward than it needs to be. It takes away from the convenience of popping in quickly, especially if you’re carrying bags.nnBecause of this, we’ve found ourselves only going in when we really need to, and using other shops nearby for smaller trips. With the new Aldi opening across the road, it’ll be interesting to see if that changes things.
This store is surprisingly big inside a bit like a tardis. Friendly staff and well stocked.
Really handy place to buy things that you may need.nGood selection.
