I like a good curry and I've tried many a restaurant, over the years - so, I can tell you with absolute confidence that Tale of Spice is right up there with the best of them   Just to cover the basics;  I have ordered takeaway meals twice in the recent past from them and this is my take.  Service/ordering by phone - polite, helpful and willing to accommodate individual requests.  Prices - no cheap but not expensive either. Excellent value for money though undoubtedly.  Food - genuine Indian cuisine, full of rich flavours and clearly made with culinary skill. I have tried a dozen of there dishes and could find fault with none bar an error in  communication which they were apologetic about and immediately put right  I'm going to be enjoying many more nights and meals care of Tale of Spice, thank you very much

I’ve had many a scrumptious takeaway from Tale Of Spice so thought it would be great to try the restaurant. It was brilliant! It was a Tuesday night yet busy with a lovely warm atmosphere and a fantastic, welcoming service. The food, lagers and wine were perfect and great quality. We cannot wait to go back, we loved it.  Vegetarian options: We’re both vegetarian and there was so much choice on the menu. The food was super quality and the service exceptional. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

Amazing food and service. I have been there twice now and on both occasions I have not booked in advance and they have very kindly fitted me in no problem. I would highly recommend this lovely Indian restaurant and the prices are very reasonable too !

So, times are hard for us all. We can't afford our usual treats as and when we did.  My wife said to me this Friday "fancy an Indian? my treat" I jumped at the offer. When it arrived it was tepid, Luke warm.  Very disappointed tale of spice. And, this is not the first time.  Probably going to look else where, such a shame, you used to be so good.

Such a quick delivery after a long time ordering from them, I was dubious. No need! Fresh and tasty as I remembered plus a free popadom and delicious accompaniments! Not sure why we’ve been trying other curry houses. The best. Thank you for a lovely end to a cold and otherwise miserable Monday!

We have discovered Tale of Spices a few weeks ago and we have ordered 3 times already.  Their food is done to a high standard and the flavors are authentic.  I love the kind touches they add for our deliveries, the little extras, the fast service and the very friendly people.  I come from Asia and we grow up with a mixed of Indian and Asian cultures and food, I love good food and I can say this is where good food is.  Vegetarian options: I love their biryani veggie rice, and their veg dishes.  Just so satisfying in flavors and sauces.

Always have good food from here! It’s usually a lot quicker to arrive than stated as well. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for Indian!

Delicious food and very well presented. I particularly liked the naan bread - so soft and fluffy. Very reasonably priced too.

Wonderful food and service! We ordered takka Dhall, dopiaza and aloo Gobi. The restaurant was very busy but that didn't hinder the speed or experience. I will be coming back. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!

We ordered a take-away for 16 people on Saturday afternoon which was delivered exactly when we asked, piping hot and delicious. Friendly service from ordering to delivery. Chicken nice and tender. Only minor thing was the chicken tikka masala was found to be too sweet. Thanks very much for a great meal x
