Ordered a takeaway from Justeat, food was early, but was piping hot and very enjoyable. Ordered salt and pepper chips and although they not what I expected, they were cooked well and were delicious. Ordered 2 Thai style dishes with egg fried rice, all very tasty
Just been taken over by the original owners again so was expecting a good meal. Not so, unfortunately. All 4 dishes were tasteless. The chicken curry tasted like Bisto gravy granules. The place didn't look clean either. Can't recommend at this time but might give then a couple of months to settle in.
Not impressed at all!! Star Easy really gone down hill the past couple of weeks! Food and customer service!! Shame because we where regular customers that won't be returning again
New owners. Lots to work on, very polite but not enough staff. Very long wait times and the food isn't as nice as prev owners
We ordered food last Friday and was left extremely disappointed, one of us was missing our chicken balls from our meal, we called and explained, and after a long pause of silence they said they would send the driver back with the missing chicken balls, we also requested a fresh portion of chips to go with our meal and they said the best they could offer was some prawn crackers, and they suggested we eat the chips in the meantime and then eat the chicken balls when they arrived which arrived 45 mins after we called I ended up paying for a portion of chips so we could have our meal together.. Really disappointed as my wife orders regular from Star East and the food is really spot on.. I understand errors happen, I just think that they could of thrown in some fresh chips so we could had our meal, instead I had to pay!
Carnival night in Trowbridge, so ordered takeaway from my side of town, what a mistake that was. Order was due between 1930-1950 at 1947 driver calls to say he is stuck other side of town, left takeaway 20mins ago, so would be another 10 mins, told him to take it back and get meal replacement as it would be cold, called takeaway to complain and say I wanted replacement was told they were short of drivers, not my problem, then told they deliver by postcode, so asked why not deliver nearest postcode 1st when knowing roads would be closed. In end they relented and said it would be 20mins, 40mins and still waiting. Avoid this place. Do not use.
The food was not fresh old onions and and spring onions in chicken dish, Chicken chow main has dried sprouts and old onions. Sour and sweet chicken don't taste fresh either. Very disappointed not gonna order again from there.
We ordered chicken and mushroom soup it was dreadful it tasted like pepper water hardly any chicken or mushroom in it. We ordered chicken fried rice, well loads of rice hardly any chicken and no taste. We ordered Singapore fried rice, guess what hardly anything else but rice, a few tiny bits of chicken, 4 peas, 3 little strips, and that was about it. I have given 1 star because I had to, just about all of it went in the bin so that was £17.60 In the bin. All I can say is SHAME on Star East, Trowbridge, you should hang your heads in shame.
Really didn't enjoy this place, stodgy rice and chip shop curry sauce, really disappointed, won't order again
Food is always piping hot and REALLY yummy. Amazing chicken dishes and great prices. Keep up the great work xxx
