Thoroughly enjoyed my first time there. Loved the food and there was plenty of it. Very relaxed atmosphere with a warm welcome as soon as I came in. Their staff were very helpful and we're there instantly to help as I have poor mobility. Also prices very reasonable. My friend and I were most impressed. Thank you! This pub is now an Ember Inns restaurant and pub. Good food - Friendly staff and extremely popular especially with local Milton Keynes people. There's a large garden area which groups of people and families take advantage of eating outside in good summer weather.

Had the trio roast which sounded great on the menu. But it was cold when brought to the table. Then waited 30 mins for dessert.

Solidly the best local in Loughton. Good food and beer selection. Can't make a negroni, but still as great pub.
