With the remnants of the historical pub abutted to the newer oak framed barn, the ingeniously reconstructed Old Beams is a glorious triumph of gastronomy over adversity!

Dine inside warmed by log fires in the vaulted oak barn or private dining rooms of the old pub or, weather permitting, alfresco in the garden or on the patio.

The food is quite nice and the staff are really friendly and hard working, our only concern was if you opt to eat in the beer garden it is incredibly rowdy with a lot of drunk people and boisterous behaviour, you certainly wouldn't want to live close by
The service was above and beyond on our recent visit. I had requested a sign for our table welcoming our guests who were only in UK for one day. I had hoped for something small and handwritten, but when we arrived, there was this beautiful printed poster for them. We were absolutely delighted! Thank you all very much! Such lovely staff waiting at the table too. Nothing was too much trouble.
What can I say! I held a girlie brunch at the pub yesterday for my 60th Birthday. 32 lovely ladies looking for nice food, good wine and good service. All were exceptional! They managed to seat us in the garden. All our food arrived at the same time, we were all waited on for drinks at the table and the atmosphere was great. Thank you Tracie, Scott and Team Beams. Highly recommend a visit here
Very enjoyable visit to the Old Beams. Was actually very quiet, which surprised us for a sunny summer's evening visit, so no problem getting a table. Food service was quick, and food was very good, although perhaps the £25 sharing platter was a fraction over priced for the amount of food. Decent selection of draft beers and larger too, which was nice to see.
We booked an area for my mum's 60th birthday surprise party/gathering. The staff from first contact couldn't have been more helpful anything we needed or wanted they accommodated. The buffet that was odered was so nice all the geusts commented on how tasty the food was. I would definitely recommend if you are wanting to hold an event. Thank you everyone
