We went as a small group of friends on a Sunday evening. It was quiet which is what we wanted/expected for a Sunday evening. The food was absolutely delicious. When ordering I was surprised at the price expect £15 for a main. When the food came, I was really pleased with the quality and taste. The lamb melts in your mouth. I had the chocolate cake for dessert and the vanilla ice cream was great! I've never actually enjoyed vanilla ice cream. Well recommended and we'll be back soon! Thanks everyone!
Was quite tonight which was great for me other times have been packed .good service staff nice friendly food quick and hot so for us yet another good time had here
Really loved the food and has a great atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable and the staff are always friendly and welcoming.
Visited on a Saturday evening, had to walk through a salsa class to get to the restaurant not clearly signposted where our table wasn't ready. After a brief wait we were seated. A 30 minute wait for drinks to arrive which was wrong was a little annoying, we didn't get starters until about a hour into the meal. Slow service, unclear and uncommunicative staff. Food pleasant enough, but limited menu. Nice enough environment. However, the food wasn't good enough and it wasn't busy enough to justify 2 and a half hours for 2 drinks and 2 courses.
Very tasty food in here, sometime there is also live music. The service can be a little slow when busy, and we did have a few issues with drinks orders at the start of the meal, however the staff worked hard and provided a suitable resolution. I did enjoy the dining experience, but when the restaurant is busy be prepared for it to take a bit longer.
A nice and pleasant environment and lovely polite staff. Wine was quite reasonably priced, in terms of restaurant prices, that is.... However, I was surprised that Taksim don't serve any of the complimentary bread, dips and olives, which you get in a typical Turkish Restaurant.....
Went here for a family meal, I must day the meze starter was fantastic, lovely array of food and all so tasty. Sharing platter for main was huge and again all the food was cooked perfectly, very tasty and huge portions. Staff were very helpful and friendly too which always helps set the mood for a meal. Well done, we will be back
Wonderful Turkish Restaurant. Authentic cuisine, love the inclusion of pide on the menu. Live entertainment on a Saturday when we visited, excellent guitarist. Service is very efficient, even when busy. Nice beer garden on the side. Lovely high ceilings at this venue seemed to keep the sound levels down. Love the apricot and almonds dessert. Definitely now my favourite Turkish Restaurant in the UK. Will be back soon!
