Bit pricey but definitely justified by above average quality; there is a solid commitment to flavour and variety. Tofu satay was my favourite. Portions are good but not generous so make sure you add rice or noodles to the mains. Also be patient, better food takes a few minutes more to prepare.

This place is nothing like any other take away restaurant. The quality from Take Thai is really something you need to experience first hand. I’m addicted to the chicken massaman, but that’s okay, I know it’s got plenty of fresh veg & succulent always perfectly cooked quality chicken breast. The food is always amazing, but the service is even better, I have never come across a takeaway owner taking not only such pride in his work, but also exceptional service & genuine interest in every one of his customers. Even if you don’t like Thai food, try this place, you’ll find something on the menu you’ll love!

How a takeaway like this exists in Norwich is beyond me. I have lived in London for many years, as well as working all over the country. My brother's wife is Vietnamese and I travel to Thailand often myself. The service here has always been very impressive and they really care about the customers. There is a latin accented girl that sometimes serves, who can be a bit cold, but that may be her culture. However, the owner and the Thai girl that often serves, are always so helpful, suggesting dishes and asking how you like your taste. The food is better than any Thai restaurant in Norwich and I have eaten in most of them. The portion sizes are great, but the flavours and freshness are just mind-blowing. I have had more takeaways from these guys than I can remember and they have all been spot on. I will say though that Saturday nights have long waiting times. I appreciate its because they are so busy and in demand, but its frustrating when you want a take thai and you can't have it sooner. All the same, worth an easy 5 star!

Probably the best thai food I have had in the Uk after many culinary experiences in the Far East. Polite friendly staff. Great chef!! Nr5 0ul
