I have been here a few times and always come out feeling a million dollars. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help, no bitchiness which you sometimes get in hairdressers! I love the products they use and the salon is clean and comfortable. You can tell the owners and staff really take pride in their business. I will be visiting again.

I have a mixed view of this salon as detailed below. Weaknesses: - I have been a client at Take 2 for a few years but have now gone to Jaks due to my appointments constantly being moved around and my hairdresser changing 3 times in the space of a year. This is not always Take 2’s fault and they do try to reschedule but it is very annoying when it happens a few times - I want to be able to book an appointment and know it will go ahead without receiving a phone call/text a few days before asking me to reschedule. - No reception cover on Saturdays so hairdressing staff have to deal with reception duties, disrupting my haircut and sometimes causing delays to appointments. Strengths: + Nice salon with friendly staff. + Wide variety of both hair and beauty services offering good value for money; I was only subject to one small price increase whilst a customer here. Thanks to the team at Take 2 for everything over the last few years but I have now gone to Jaks where hopefully my appointments will not be cancelled as often and my hairdresser will stay the same!

Delightful experience. Reception looked after me beautifully for the short time before my appointment. Ruth was perfection and couldnt have been sweeter or more professional.Look forward to my next visit. Ken

Friendly staff but my £20 wet cut went up to £25, which is a massive increase! Wasn't particularly happy with the cut either ☹

I managed to get a last minute appointment at take two on Saturday. I had a complete restyle by Sue after years of the same bland style. It looks great, she spent a long time cutting as my hair is very thick, the end result is fab!! Thank you very much sue x
