Lovely food, Amazing service
It seems as there is some untrue negative feedback, which seems not to be genuine and a direct act of trying to tarnish the reputation of the restaurant. I always say believe what you see and not just hear say. Now to the matter of the restaurant and most importantly the food.. I'm a repeat customer and have been very satisfied with the service and food. It's always been served hot, in a timely manor and most importantly it's always been fresh. This is the reason why I take my work colleagues to dine here as I know exactly what to expect.
Not desi taste, if you are Lahori or know how original karahi taste like, don't bother coming
3rd visit today and I must say at all times I've not been let down with the service and quality of food. We arrived a little early today approx 25mins to our reserved time and was told to wait until they prepare a table so I appreciate the fact that they catered for us a little early then the booked time. Anyhow as for the food it defiantly is quality and cooked very well. A little out of the way but hey if the food is pukka will travel anywhere if the food is right :
This place has gone downhill. Visited with the family on a Saturday at 7:30pm and the place was nearly deserted. The inside of the restaurant was cold and the heating wasn't working. Gave the order and asked for all food to be served at the same time i.e including starters. Starters were served first without the naan bread and the main course followed 15 minutes later. Our starter got cold. The food tastes great which is the only reason I gave 3 stars. Will consider going elsewhere next time.
After being a customer for the past 2 years I can honestly say won't be going back again. The food standard has dropped and the service is well below par had to wait ages for the order to be taken and everyone just seemed to casually walk past not even bothering to ask if we were being attended to. Took the family and felt so ashamed as they said" is this a place where you come and eat" the servers have no manners and had to wait a good 15 minutes for the naan by which time the curry was cold. Use to be an excellent place to eat now the menu has been reduced and whatever is available is below standard, don't know if it's new management or what but never recommending this place to anyone ever again. Can't give below 1 star otherwise even this is too much.
Food was ok, nothing special. Family naan was not great - it was too thick and burnt. On the bright side, seating is plentiful and there's a nice ambience inside. Taste of Pakistan, however which is only 5 minutes away, is much better in my opinion.
My favourite restaurant in London! Outstanding food and service. Can't fault anything and having visited several times its standard has always remained high over the years. Great for a special occasion if you want a top experience. Staff are always helpful and food taste great. Once you had your meal, the owner comes over to make sure everything's ok... You Know the Owner cares about his customers.... 5 Star...... :-
Awful, awful service. Food came out on a hot plate, and it sizzled as if it was hot too - but the food was cold. When we told the waiter, the waiter said it isn't possible that it's cold because they make it "fresh". As another user has complained, there is a lack of vegetarian options - and I have been coming to Tabahi Karahi for almost a year, and there did used to be chilli paneer on the menu - not sure why the management have got rid of it. All I can say is I'm really disappointed. This used to be one of the first places I'd consider for good Asian food, but sadly that is no longer the case.
This place is hit n miss most of the time. Food is extremely inconsistent and suspect at times; found lamb bones in my CHICKEN karahi once! It was quite busy that day and I could notice the staff along with management wilting under the pressure of hungry and not very happy customers. The staff is very untrained, lack basic etiquettes and appear very crude. As a result the level of service is quite poor, especially on busy days. If you really want to eat here then I'd say go in with all your lucky charms and you might actually get served with half decent food.
