A great place for vegetarians. If you are looking for authentic Mumbai vada pav and Masala Chai, Look no further! This is the place to be. Located on the high street of Hounslow, a very popular place among locals. Though crowded, you will definitely get a seat as the staffs are really helpful and efficient. The food was amazing as well as the Onion Bhajiya plate for sharing with the Masala Chai. We went there in the afternoon for tea and snacks and really deserve a five star for maintaining the ambience and the flavour.
We went to Shree Krishna Vada Pav with high expectations and we were left wanting more in terms of taste. The service was alright, although we didn't know that one needs to order first and then take a seat. There is a notice board stating this rule but it is not posted at the entrance, instead it is placed on a door behind the counter. A new customer wouldn't be able to see it at first. We ordered Bhelpuri it was decent, Aloo Tikki Chaat which was not nice at all, Sandwich average and IndoChinese noodles average. They gave us a complementary Bhelpuri which was nice of them and hence one extra *star. But overall it is not something which is worth the hype.
Real authentic Maharastrian dishes based from Mumbai. May not be everyone's taste but this is as close to Mumbai Street food as you can get. Friendly staff, variety of flavours and food. Very reasonable prices.
Extremely tasty food and great service. I wish they paid a little more attention to cleanliness and hygiene. The vada Pav is a must try. Avoid the fried rice if you can. It gave me indigestion.
You know it’s going to be good when there’s a queue out the door! It’s no frills but here you get fantastic, tasty food, quick service and amazing value for money. I would definitely come back if I’m in the area again. Particular highlights were the chai, papri chaat and vada pav. Would highly recommend.
Best restaurant on High Street Hounslow to have Vada Paav, Misal Paav, Chai Tea, Paav Bhaji etc. There are many offers that this restaurant offers. On Vada Paav, they had offer of buy 5 get 1 free or buy 10 get 2 free from Monday to Friday. I had availed the offer of buy 10 and get 2 free. All the dishes are yummy and must try! Please note that offer keeps on changing, so contact restaurant for any ongoing offers.
I came from far out London and was super excited to try their food. They pack their food so poorly. Omg! It all dripped and when I came home I was so disappointed. Please invest in better boxes, more patient staff and pack your food properly
I have mentioned this in my previous review at their Slough branch but the one at Hounslow keeps the consistency with taste and service. The filing or Bhaji of the Batata Vada should be gold standard against which all Batata Vada in the UK should be judged. Similar with the Ragda and Pani of Pani Puri. I've tasted chaat in almost all major UK cities which have high claims of their authenticity. SKVP is the only one that sets up the benchmark of authenticity. You can close your eyes and taste their flavorful Pani Puri to teleport instantly to streets of Mumbai Chowpatty in the evening. What they lack in presentation more than makes up for the taste, so this is my nitpicking. Overall, for any better street style snacks, chai and Maharashtrian goodies, it's either of their 6 outlets or 7000 km southeast of UK.
I was craving for some Indian snacks and this place fulfilled it. I had a great tasting spicy vada pav and street style bhel. A big thanks for satisfying our Indian food cravings in UK Food: 4/5
A vegetarian food shop/ restaurant to enjoy Indian street food specially Mumbai/Maharastrian cuisine flavour. They have both eating and takeaway options. Also they take online order from Uber eats and other online platforms. It’s so popular that I find it always crowded infact in any random weekdays too. Prices are very reasonable compared to other filling and tasty foods. Also you can buy specific Maharastrian masala mix for your own use. In spring time Mumbai famous Alphanso mangoes are also available. Stuffs are very helpful & polite. Food quality is really really good. A quick stop for snacks. N.B. Must r ry masala milk tea and bada pav.
