Popped into this store to "fix" the crown on my watch, turns out it just needed tightening. However, whilst tightening it, the gentleman asked if I wanted the battery replaced too. I asked how much it would be, he said the "repair" was 5 pounds and battery was 15, and asked what I'd like to do. I said, the "repair" was fine. He then proceeded to charge me 7 pounds for the "repair". Obviously because I didn't ask him to change the battery. I think this kind of customer service is very impolite. Even though it's only an extra 2 pounds, its the principal. If you're going to give a price for a job, stick to that price, don't change it because you feel like it. This kind of service has put me off ever going back.
Zac helped bring back to life an antique Breguet carriage clock which had been converted from mechanical to battery operated by a German craftsman many years ago. Over a period of months he removed old parts and fitted new. Many people would have said No, too difficult, but Zac persevered and it now looks handsome and keeps good time. Great service at a reasonable cost.
I couldn't recommend T Jewellery more highly. I came to them with an old family ring passed down to me that I used as an engagement ring to propose to my fiancée - it needed resizing several sizes smaller but also the emeralds had broken and the clasps were worn. Zac gave us excellent advice - he sourced some beautiful replacement gems 4 emeralds and 3 diamonds at our request and his workshop have done a truly fantastic job repairing and reinforcing the clasps, replacing the stones and restoring the ring to its former beauty, all whilst maintaining the character of the family ring I've included before and after photos. He maintained excellent communication throughout keeping us updated with progress and photos, and kept a fair price for the excellent quality of the work. We couldn't be happier with end result and the overall service. Thank you very much again!
I had to take my engagement ring to be widened slightly. They were really thorough and made sure the new size was right and the price was very reasonable. And my ring came back like new! So pleased. Would highly recommend.
The team are excellent, very knowledgable and fairly priced! I took two necklaces, one needed a full repair but the other unbeknown to me just needed a professional to clasp it back together again which they did for free given the quick fix - would highly recommend and will definitely be going back! Thank you both!
Really helpful owners who spent time talking to me about a repair I needed and did it in the most cost effective way. Bought a beautiful chain and had two watches that they put new batteries in. All very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend!
T Jewellery is my favourite jewellery shop. They have really beautiful items for every budget and their staff are incredibly helpful. If you're looking for a gift, you really can't go wrong here.
This shop is fantastic – the owners really go the extra mile. My wife could not find anybody to re-string her pearl necklace as the string and stringing were both non-traditional. She took it to T Jewellery and the necklace is now as good as new – she’s thrilled! They have also helped us with other repairs and the jewellery ranges are excellent.
These guys are the best. Very thoughtful and kind. When they accidentally ordered my wedding ring at 18 carats instead of 9, they gave it to me at no extra price at all. Really kind! They definitely won my custom.
I’ve been a regular customer of T Jewellery in Crouch End for years. My friends shop there too. I value their expertise when doing repairs so many earrings I’ve taken to them - which they’ve been able to repair so I can still wear them. And appreciate having a local jewellery shop with such a wonderful selection of quality jewellery. I usually leave with a new pair of earrings too.
