Not very happy with my hair. I used to have Becky who cut my hair for years, but she has now left, so I booked a different hairdresser called Yvonne. I won’t be returning to Syer and will have to find another hairdressers. Really disappointed.
I’m writing this review very late. I got a haircut back in January from here. Yvonne was so amazing, she put me at ease. I came to her with a several requests, it should have volume, eaves, bangs, look edgy etc etc etc. I wanted Korean curtain bangs. I had a certain cut in my mind, however, she did a better job than I could’ve imagined. My hair has grown now, but I still love my cut. I love the ease of its management. I’ll be going back there again and again for any future cuts or styling I want for sure.
Have been a customer for years. This speaks for itself. Friendly atmosphere. Stylist: Yvonne. Always cuts my hair well. Friendly. Pleasant and excellent stylist.

Absolutely delighted with Becky's restyling of my hair and the new highlights she gave me at the Sutton Colfield salon. She transformed my dull lifeless hairstyle; I left with a shiny, classy new look and feeling a good few years younger! Thankyou, Becky!
First time been to this hairdressers as been looking for a while to change from old one. I had Natalie B who looked after me well. I wanted a nice shiny brown colour and straightened she took her time with me and Choose a lovely colour. I am so pleased with colour and the experience I had today and cannot wait to go back. Salon busy but still felt calm and having hair washed was so relaxing with a great atmosphere.Spoke to a few customers while there that are very happy with this hairdressers and have been going for long time. Everyone has commented on how nice my colour and hair looks. Thank you so much Natalie B and see soon.
Always had great service here from Alex but while she was on maternity leave a couple of years ago I had an appointment with Linda and haven't gone back since. Sat there bored out of my mind for 4 hours, all she did was put a toner on and trimmed my ends, she made me feel like a burden. Paid over £100 and my hair looked no different to when I went in, even the customer sitting next to me commented on how long is been sat in the chair waiting to be seen, thought she'd forgotten about me. Most awkward hair appointment I've ever had.
Visited Syer Hair and Beauty today for my first ever hair dye experience at a salon, and I also had a haircut. They were really great. I had a hair consultation with Claire last week when I was given a hair dye patch test I have sometimes had allergic reactions to home dying kits. Claire suggested dye that we should use some hair dye that has no ammonia in it to limit the risk of a reaction. She also put a plan in place to help lighten my hair colour. I am so happy with end results, and the entire staff from the receptionist, to the hairdresser and to the people who washed my hair were really nice. I'll be going back there and I would fully recommend them :
I had my nails done with gel the girls were amazing! I hadn't planned the visit or booked a appointment but I had found myself with a free hour before my train home and wanted to see if they could fit me in while I was there so I would be ready to go away on Saturday they found me a slot and got my nails done in the most beautiful blue I could not be happier my nails look great Thank you so much to everyone in Syer you made my week I will definitely be coming back
Giving 5 star due to wonderful experience. My hairdresser was fab and I loved the haircut. So easy to look after. Possibly the last star is due to Covid measures they put in place. Noticed that the window was open for ventilation and my hairdresser had a mask on. Put me at ease. Thanks, will be coming back againPositiveProfessionalismServicesHairstyling
