The treatment and colour service I received was appaulling. I had my hair done by Ellie who made me look so stripey with about 5-6 different colours when I asked for a simple ashy brown. Also she didn’t even do my roots so it looked like I hadn’t even had my hair done!  The owner is unbelievably rude and has made racist remarks and stereotypes about my hair and how simple hair colours are unachievable. Despite me going to another hairdresser’s who did it straight away and achieved my desired colour.  I have been a loyal customer for years and didn’t realise that they were incorrectly charging me the manager prices every time! When I bought this up, along with my hair not being done he said that they can’t meet my expectations based on the “amount of hair” I have. For any decent hairstylist the amount of hair, thickness or colour should not mean that you refuse to do your clients hair. Assuming that I have “Asian hair” and that I can’t have blonde on the ends is so unbelievably racist considering he never even asked me about my heritage but just said that to have an excuse not to do my hair. I am absolutely disgusted my the quality of service, the hundreds that I’ve been overcharged over the years and the lack of care given despite coming here for years hoping to achieve my desired look. I would suggest that anyone who is not “Caucasian” as Simon John likes to say they are certainly not welcome in this salon!

Had my hair done on Monday by Niamh and couldn’t be any happier! Hadn’t had it done for a while and it had been massively neglected but by the time id left it felt brand new and I felt absolutely amazing! Massively recommend Simon John Hair Salon and will only be using them in the future! Well priced and lovely staff who really listen to what you want and take their time to make sure you leave their salon extra happy! Thanks Again Niamh and hope you all have a fabulous Christmas there! X

I have recently started having my hair cut and coloured at this Salon and I am absolutely delighted with the result.  The staff are so lovely and friendly and make you feel so welcome.  My hair was coloured and cut by Ellie who is fantastic because she listens to what you want from for your hairstyle. My colour and cut was superb and felt very confident with Ellie cutting my hair as she is a very talented stylist.  I have been trying to find a good Salon for nearly two years and I know I will be returning to this one as good hairdressers are very hard to find, but hopefully I have found mine.

First time visiting Simon John Salon. Never like switching Salons or Hairdressers, However, they did great, attentive, friendly and attention to detail. Honor did a amazing job. Great all-round experience.  Thank you Simon, Honor & the team will be back.

Amazing staff make sure you are always happy with the service they provide I have always felt so relaxed with the atmosphere in the salon I come out feeling and looking amazing I first met them when I had to have my hair shaved due to cancer they were amazing was not at any point did I feel uncomfortable they made me feel as if I had come in  to a regular hair appointment Love you guys keep up the amazing stuff you do xxx

Absolutely disappointed with their service!! They never done what I asked for! Then they were so rude and aggressive. I came out so upset they didn’t even apologise!! I had to go to different hairdresser to fix my hair. They didn’t even offer me refund! I will never ever go back and never recommend them to anyone!ServicesHair coloring

I wouldn't recommend this salon to any one as long as it has that owner  i went for hair color i did not like the result at all is nearly dark red blackish color when i asked for copper brown  and yet instead of been sorry he kept defending there service with out any logic !??? However rest of the staff were lovely , i hate my hair now don't want to look at myself

I have just left Simon John hair salon after my first hair appointment with Cat.  Her knowledge and understanding was first rate and I love the colour, cut and styling of my hair.  The staff were all so nice and friendly and the girl who washed my hair was so nice and talkative it was a real pleasure.  Looking forward to my next visit.  Thanks again Cat.

I have been using Simon John Hair Salon for a few years now. I'm happy to have any of the stylists work on my hair, they are all excellent. My recent visit was with Niamh, she works my thick unruly hair and achieves the most amazing blonde tones. Very friendly, welcoming staff. Wouldn't use anyone else.

Had my hair cut, coloured and styled by Niamh today, she was absolutely amazing and attentive throughout. I booked online through their website which was easy and efficient, as a first time customer I will definitely be returning. Thank you so much
