Absolutely shocking behaviour by the pair of old gets ? Been going here for over 9 years and always dealt with the young MOT tester. Took my vehicle in in January and it sailed through , has done every year for 9 years and if any work was needed I let them do. January I took a brand new radiator in that INneeded fitting in my pickup . I was quoted £60 to fit however it was in for a full day as I also ask them to secure my side step at the same . They told what ,materials I would with measurement and I went and got them. I expected a price for fitting the steps on top of the radiator. I dropped it off and left it for a full day . When I called to collect it after work, they had not even touched it nor phone me to say the the box section they told me to get was the wrong size, they also needed some more hose to fit the radiator .. I was pissed that they didn't, let me know but agreed to take it in again for another full day. I got the box section changed and they ordered the hose.. I was off work this day and it got to 4pm never Godoy a call from them so I called them , I was told if I get there for 5pm ( closing time) it would be ready as work when I called had stopped. I waited there from 4:50pm till 6:30pm as the radiator took longer to fit it , not surprised with the pair of miserable pollock working on it. They only secured 1 step too so obvious the had worked on it till it was finished. They probably left it till last to do. When it was done I told em aid appreciated them staying late to do it and would bring it back for the second step to be done . Was told 2 weeks before they could do it I asked how much and the old said to the other got to be £150 plus VAT that's unless he has cash. I said I have cash but then I was told £170 . Because I questioned this the miserable old guy said look just give me £100 , I replied no , I will give you £150 but I want the other step doing. He replied Give me the £150 then so I handed it to him, soon as he got the money in his hand , he said take ya car and don't come back. I was fuming and said is that how you treat customers that have been coming to your garage for over 9 years , you waited to get the money in your hand and then said what you did . That is out of order , the skinny owner was just as bad. They think it's my fault that something took longer to fit and my time wasted stood there 90 mins while they fitted the radiator, not to mention a wasted day a week eRlier and by fact only one step was secured and parts I paid for are still in their possession . They reacted like they did .. pair of cowboys who need to know how to treat their customers . I was not rude or abusive and in the end I got an apology for what he said but he said I exiled him up... not my fault , when a car is booked in a second time it should have been the first worked on . I walked away as I was disgusted in their behaviour ... lol my son said dad you should have phoned me... to them loyalty means nothing and I didn't expect not paying ,I even said I'd pay the extra £20 when the second step was done so I was more than happy to pay.. they wanted as always as I have been asked before for cash so they can have it as petty cash ... so fiddling the books .. I would just say be very careful, they are nasty con men. The other lad who I have dealt with could learn them a thing or two . Chris
