Arrived whilst dark. Really bad lighting. Could only find 1 machine. Card payment was not accepted odd during a pandemic!. Left note in car windscreen explaining with contact number. Missed the train. Had to buy another train ticket for £70.00. plus will probably get a fine from APCOA . Would have been quicker and cheaper to drive. Do not recommend!!
Bad experience. First of all, there is always a huge back up of traffice by the station in the rush hour, so you can lose 20 minutes just waiting to get in. They advertised as being £5.50 after 4.00 pm, but, in the rain, and in the dark the machine asked for a minimum of £9.10 which I could just barely manage to do in time to miss my train. Also, it's quite a horrible walk from the station in the rain when you come back late at night. Avoid. Oh, they tell me that the reduced price is only on Friday nights and at weekends. I missed that on the website. Good to know, but it's incredibly mean to put that charge on a fairly empty car park in the weekday evenings.
Ticket machine repeatedly failed to work, kept stating network error and unable to pay by card. Card slot would not accept card for me and another user. Card reader did not work. Last thing you need when you are booked on a train.
Shockingly lit and parking machines takes ages to take payment and took several attempts
