Been buying everything you need for garden and allotment for many years. Proper nursery. Good quality plants and good price.wonderful nursery. I buy my geraniums as plug plants from here and bring them on my self and once again now planted out in my tubes all round my bungalow, they give a wonderful display. Highly recommend this nursery. You can also get a coffee or tea here now as well.
This place is great, the staff are helpful and the plants are healthy. I visit here at least twice a year. I've just bought autum/winter basket plants. However, it's a real shame the young blonde lady working in the private orchard was so rude to me and my Mother on our kast visit. There is no sign saying it is a private orchard and no separate boundary either. Perhaps a sign would prevent others from mistaking it as part of the nurseries. She was truly horrible to my elderly Mother. She really upset us both and this has put us off visiting again.
Plenty of plants to choose from.nWell organised.Beutiful selection of indoor plants.Will certainly be coming back as l saw some excellent ideas for Christmas presents.
We have been visiting SC nurseries for years - most staff are very pleasant and helpful, though we have bought plants late last year of which 3 have died in their first year- the so called ‘expert’ garden person just was not interested. V disappointed as this appears to be a family concern highly reliant on customer satisfaction and repeat business. Obviously this ‘expert’ doesn’t share this objective .
If you dislike gushing, you'd better scroll on now because here it comes:nThis is literally my happy place, I absolutely love it here. The place is immaculate and the plants always extremely well looked after something that can't always be said of certain other near-by garden centresnThe prices are remarkable, literally half the price of other places and for much better maintained plants. It's got to the point where I may as well just transfer my wages straight to them as I know they will get me every time!nFor a relatively small business they pack in a great array of indoor and outdoor plants. Every time I go there is something new and I never escape without buying more, I just can't wait until the next time I can visit because I know I will find something else I love.nThey have a great selection of planters at good prices and often have sales on them when you can grab a real bargain.nThe indoor selection is always lovely and perfect for me as I love succulents and they keep a constant turnover of new and very varied stock.nAnd no review of this place would be complete without mention of the very lovely and charming Charlotte who runs her own tiny little coffee hut on site. The coffees are absolutely gorgeous and the desserts are guaranteed to drop you in to a coma, don't leave without buying a treat!nIn conclusion- go replenish your soul here, you won't regret it told you it would be gushing!nEdit: Sorry, I forgot to mention the staff! Always very helpful, friendly and service is always with a smile!
