Review for BEAUTY BY ASHA
The front of this salon is rented to Beauty by Asha. I go here regularly for usual eyebrows,wax, facial, mani-pedi etc. I have always had a positive experience. Asha is very friendly and very professional. The work she does is very good. She is also very quick with her work so no fussing around, which is good when you are in a rush. I would highly recommend this place.

DO NOT GO HERE! Unprofessional, delayed, tried to get me to pay double two days before my event! 
I booked with this company for my wedding in November. I went for my trial, and although I had specified several times over the phone I wanted Sweta to do my makeup as I've heard of varsha not being very good at it, she wasn't there on arrival at 10am. So varsha did my hair which was fine, not at all like the picture I had shown Initially but with a lot of heavy insisting from my sister In law she managed to do a half decent job. Then came the 45 minute wait for Sweta to turn up, she came with a bad attitude and no apology for her lateness. But did do a decent job, as I was pushed for time I decided to just go with it. We had a clear contract of payment for hair and makeup, and they gave me a "receipt" which wasn't as clear but I had three verbal reassurances the price included the hair and makeup for two events.
On the wedding day, again Sweta hadn't turned up; varsha looked surprised when I had clearly stated on several occasions I did not want her doing my makeup. So after a few stern words and a bit of upset on my part.. I was the bride on the morning of my wedding with the makeup artists mother who I had never done a trial with! Anyways Sweta turned up late of course so I missed a few photo ops with the photographer; she then got in the way of the photographer taking pictures for her portfolio. My mum had to force her out. Then she said goodbye with the promise that this would not happen at the walima, and Sweta would be there as I was coming to the salon to get ready. 
Two days before the walima I get a call saying I hadn't paid for hair and makeup it was for hair only and I now had to pay double. After arguing for an hour, with comments like "you can afford it" and "you won't find someone now for Saturday" I had had enough; I told her I wanted a full refund and I would rather do my own makeup than be swindled by her and her unprofessional daughter.
The next morning I get a call from the daughter who starts off sweetly and I said I had nothing more to say, I just wanted a refund: there was too much bad blood, clearly there had been a miscommunication on their part. She then flew off the handle calling me a liar, cheap, and that "I didn't even look that good on my wedding even with her work" I said thank you and asked her to transfer the money to my account. Which she did. 
I did find another makeup artist for only £50 more then the original price as it was a singular event. Who was lovely, professional had me ready on time and gave me a supply of lippy for the night and took only three photos for her portfolio and helped Carry my train and dress to the car.
