Well, the standards and attention to detail are superb. What a great restaurant, the fish menu is a fish lovers dream come true and the standard of the dishes is quite unbelievable. The place is immaculate throughout with a warm welcome and very friendly , attentive staff. We had the pleasure of staying in the rooms above and they are very nice indeed. No wonder the place is full all the time, they deserve it to be with their effort. You will not be disappointed!
Super food and drink. Great flavours. Obviously prepared by a good chef and very nicely presented. Service was excellent and friendly. The dining room was light and airy. Not the cheapest menu you will find in a pub but much better quality than you'll find in most pubs.Service: 5/5
We stayed in one of the great new rooms at the pub. Loads of character but modern touches throughout and very clean. The food was high quality and a credit to the chef and staff. Service was so friendly. The stay was a treat, it’s at the higher end cost wise but absolutely worth it and good value.Rooms: 5/5
Went to dinner when 2 friends and really enjoyed both the atmosphere and friendly staff. Food very different but delicious, lots of fish dishes. It was the 1st time of visiting and it was much smaller than anticipated so I would think booking is essential. Will certainly be going again.Service: 5/5

We've be lucky enough to stay in some really smart "posh" hotels around the World and have eaten some superb cuisine. This is right up there... seriously!!! The owner and staff were simply wonderful. The food was top drawer and our room was quaint, spacious, spotless and welcoming... in fact everything was perfect. We travelled up from the South Coast for a special birthday and although the trip was long and arduous, we were rewarded with a sumptuous 3 day stay in a really special hotel. Well done The Swan Kettleshaulme. x
Really pleasant stay there. Room was very modern and tastefully decorated, great shower and provision of chairs a nice touch as was the electric toothbrush charger which we hadn't seen anywhere else we'd stayed. Dinner was excellent and a great cooked breakfast. Hosts and staff were very welcoming and friendly.Rooms: 5/5
Lovely atmosphere, beautiful room, very quiet and recently decorated and equipped to perfection. The room was faultless - it even had a charging point for electric toothbrushes. I appreciated the absence of background music and the good humour of the proprietor. We'd certainly stay there again if visiting somewhere in the vicinity.Rooms: 5/5

Wow this was a great find. I was looking for a lovely cosy pub that had lovely room with that little extra! This was it. The attention to details in the room where very much noticed, the huge tub to soak away in and really comfy bed was fantastic. We ate in the pub restaurant and it was next level! Beautiful food. Breakfast was equally tasty! It is a bit of a treat as it’s not the cheapest but you most certainly get what you pay for.
