One of the largest Hindu temple in the Europe. Must visit for anyone in the UK. Architecture is something to marvel at. So well maintained with all necessary facilities. There a small shop, plus just opposite is a pure vegetarian restaurant and shopping mall. Simply Wonderful Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Separate secure place to leave your backpack/large bags, they provide peaces of clothing to cover arks/legs when it's summer and tourist wear shorts and tank tops. Generally, a great experience and a nice place to visit. Lovely piece of architecture and friendly staff guiding people around. As this is the temple, the entry is free. You can contribute and pay by card £2.£3.£5 9r £10 upstairs in the main hall. There is a Hinduism museum within the temple - entry for only £2 per person and it's worth going :
Well organised, the downside was that one can't take any photos inside the temple. Shame they don't change the rules. They should be same as going to the Churchs. More people's would visit with pictures of butifull temple Visited onWeekendWait time30–60 minReservation recommendedNo
Peaceful place to visit. Environment is so spiritual and pleasant. You can’t wear shorts inside. It’s kind a disrespectful to the God. The carvings of doors and pillars are incredible. They have wheelchair access as well. Neat and clean. In weekends friends, families and relatives take time to visit and enjoy together.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
This is a must visit place if you happen to be in London. Very tranquil and peaceful. Lovely people. Friendly and helpful staff. Food was super good. There is cafe in the parking lot serving super vegetarian food. Highly recommended
If you come to London, you have to visit the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Hindu temple. The architecture is absolutely beautiful. When my friend and I arrived, we were greeted by Nitesh who was so kind and told us all about the history of the temple and what to expect when we went inside. The atmosphere inside the temple is indescribable. The people there are so welcoming. We visited the exhibition which gave us an understanding of Hinduism at a cost of £2 each which I would definitely recommend. It was a very special experience and I would 100% visit again.
The architecture, is beautifully styled and sculptured. The only thing majority of the temple was closed or in construction. In the picture when I checked the temple was bigger than in real life, I was a bit disappointed The history, the attention to detail and the people who work there Entry is free, also they have parking
I recently visited the Shri SwamiNarayan Hindu Mandir in London and was amazed! This beautiful temple is very clean and well-maintained. Also, a calm and peaceful place It has idols of many Hindu gods and goddesses Ganesha, Shiv Parvati, Ram Sita, Radha Krishna, Hanuman, and Shri Swaminarayan It's one of the biggest Hindu temples outside India! What I liked the most was cleanliness and the architectural design stone and wooden work. Peaceful atmosphere and many gods and goddesses to worship You should definitely visit - If you want to feel calm and peaceful - If you're interested in Hindu culture - If you want to see something beautiful #SwamiNarayanMandir #London #HinduTemple #Sanatan Dharma
The place is soaked in holiness and a mere visit makes you feel pure. I recommend individuals and families to visit and experience solace and peace.Visited onPublic holidayWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedNo
Very beautiful architecture, good creative hand work with marble, limestone and wood. Helpful staff, including Raju and Nitesh Patel, for spending their time describing history and belief details.
