Arrived at my 17.00 arrival time, told come back at 18.00! My departure is down as 18.31 and only just on a bay round the back at 18.20, the place is a proper dive, crap everywhere round the yard, shipping office hasn't seen a cloth or mop since it was handed over when it was built. Guy on the gate more interested in personal phone calls than giving clear information to drivers, Savers by name, savers by nature - won't spend a quid on some cleaning equipment or decent running of the hovel.
Main security is okay, yard for HGV is big enough. Toilet was clean..unloading time for my 6 pallets was 15min.
Went here today 25/09/24 to deliver pharmaceuticals. Got here at 10:35 for a 11:30 booking, was turned away and told to come back at 11:30. Got an unloading bay immediately but didn’t start unloading until 14:10, left there at 14:35. Facilities were very basic and not very clean. The whole premises outside was smothered in litter consisting mainly of discarded plastic seals and packaging!!!
Fast tip, staff ok, not much in way of amenties for drivers
Ok tip, friendly staff. Must adhere to strict timings however. And limited parking gcspaces outside the depot if you are early
