We have just spent two lovely weeks at Sunray, everything there we needed such a beautiful spot very relaxing sitting by the water watching the wildlife. the Lodge was very homely and comfortable and we cannot recommend it enough.
Absolutely LOVE this bungalow! Reminds me of the holidays i used to have when i was younger on the broads when my family had their own bungalow on the broads.nnVery clean, well looked after & thoughtful hosts!n10/10
We stayed at Riverside for 5 days in March. The lodge is delightful, very comfortable and well maintained. There is a modern kitchen and large en-suite shower room. It is in a very peaceful location, It was lovely sitting on the sofa watching the boats, swans, ducks and also the occasional heron. Within walking distance are two cafes, a chippy and the large Lathams store which stocks a wide range of things including a small selection of groceries. The location is good for visiting nearby attractions. Be warned that the nearest drop off point for unloading the car is the Lathams car park. You then have a five minute walk along a path, and a steep foot bridge to reach the property. The path is often wet and muddy and during high tide can flood in the last section near the lodge. It is manageable but you need wellies. There is a permit car park for leaving the car for long periods just over the bridge which is a further few minutes walk away. Kelly was very helpful with any queries before and during our stay.
Excellent home from home on the river. Absolute bliss, beautifully laid out just whats needed for a break next to the river. the resident ducks waiting patiently for their breakfast in the morning was lovely
What a wonderfully well equipped home away from home Sunray lodge is. Whilst the weather and high tides tried their hardest to conspire against us, we had a most wonderful, warm and relaxing stay over Christmas. Kelly and Jonathan have thought of everything and are such accommodating and welcoming hosts. Thank you so much, the Christmas tree and all the little extras made it all the more special. Would love to return soon. Sharron and Rod x
