We have just returned from a long weekend at Dunes Cottage - a family group of 7 of varying ages plus our dog. The house was perfect for us - great social space, comfortable, really well equipped with everything anyone could need & more.... Fantastic location - beach, pub, shop, tea room, fish & chip shop all just minutes away & we enjoyed all of these places to the full! Everywhere is really dog friendly.nThe weather was kind to us so we visited the seals at Horsey & then some of us walked back home along the beach approx one & a half hours - beautiful!nGreat communication with Delphine the host - so helpful & friendly.nCan't recommend Dunes Cottage enough!nMany thanks Delphine!
Arthur’s Holiday!nWe visited last week, sorry this is our business profile, we are Gary and Caroline Hooper.nWe stayed from Sunday to Thursday, the cottage itself is very deceiving in terms of size, when you look at it from the front it looks like a 2 up 2 down, nothing could be further from the truth, step inside and you will find a spacious, clean and well presented cottage, with 5 bedrooms.nIt was spotlessly clean, TVs in most of the rooms with hundreds of channels to choose from.nOnly on road parking but always managed to get a space outside, nice pub just up the road, very good fish and chips shop, great location for exploring the broads and most importantly very dog friendly, Arthur really enjoyed his visit!nOverall a very pleasant experience, would definitely recommend!nThank you!
We stayed at Dunes Cottage with a couple of friends and their two children along with our own young son and toddler daughter. The owner, Delphine had left a really thoughtful hamper with various foods, Easter eggs and even colouring books for the little ones. From then on we realised the amazing level of detail that had been shown throughout. From cots and high chairs to baby plates and cutlery, baby bath, stair gates, changing mats and so much more for the kids. Then for the adults every conceivable thing you'd need in every room including newly decorated throughout, comfortable beds, immaculately clean bedding and spotless rooms, smart tv's throughout. Amazing. I've never stayed somewhere that showed that level of detail and thoughtfulness. From the house it's a short walk to the beach and local shop and pub. Parking is on the road but ample during our stay on a quiet No through road. Highly recommended.
An excellent cottage to stay at. Second time that we’ve been and to be highly recommended. A lot bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside and spotless. Very good quality of furniture and fittings. Winterton is a lovely village and good location.
Absolutely amazing cottage. Spotlessly clean, deceptively spacious, it's like the Tardis. Delphine as thought of everything...and then some! Fabulous welcome hamper too. Wouldn't hesitate to return.
