clean. not much anti social behaviour. good amount of noticeboards and digital ticket booths
We went for an afternoon out in Sunderland to basically visit some pubs with real ale and have lunch. The experience was excellent. Much better than anticipated. Some fabulous bars which I have reviewed individually. Definitely worth a run out on a Tuesday afternoon if you like real ales. Fitzgerald's, or Fitzy's was a particular highlight and the Landlord was great.
Sunderland is OK. Could do with some new shops though. Its getting busy cause of Christmas.
I recently went to catch a train at Sunderland It was cancelled so had to wait 70mts for next one The booking office was shut and ticket machine was out of order as was the metro machine The new entrance resembles an army barracks and there's not even a coffee shop or retail outlet I went to find a place for a coffee The centre and most shops were shut There were more empty and boarded up shops than open and I counted 12 charity shops and 5 pawn shops in 15mts Godforsaken dump
Drab architecture, quite depressing when compared to other local cities like Newcastle and Durham.
