I just had a burger. Pretty good. Staff are very nice. Food came out fast. No complaints at all. They let me park my bike inside the gate because I don't ever leave it out of my sight. Thought the crowd there were pretty chilled. Would come back, especially when I'm out for a cycle.Food: 4/5
The shared Sunday roast was fantastic! My favourite was the chicken. The beef was too well done for us but it was because we forgot to tell them we wanted it pink. Ciro, the waiter was excellent. He was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about their food and drinks. Highly recommended.Food: 5/5
We came on Sunday late afternoon, had Sunday roast, fish and deserts are amazing as every. We accidentally confused the waitress with the orders and menu and still what to apologise. Thank you very much. We had a great time.
Had a fantastic lunch at the Sun Inn. I had the fried chicken wrap with the house salad and as per usual it did not disappoint. Absolute gem of a place, huge outside garden and across the street to an adorable duck/swan pond, a must visit if you're in Barnes!Food: 5/5
Stopped by The Sun Inn for a Sunday roast and it did not disappoint ! We had the roast for two which included lamb, beef, & chicken – all super tasty. The vibe was really cozy, especially with the fireplace going. Highly recommend for great food and a great vibe!Food: 5/5
Best place in BARNES… with a fabulous flower stall too- The Sunday roast was sooooo delicious, highly recommended. Great service also from Richie and Chris as always, and all of the wonderful team too. Food: 5/5
The first time I went to Sun Inn I thought the name was ironic since it was a cozy, dark, low ceilings, thick walled beamed old building. The kind of warm dark place you want and expect most days in the British Isles, but definitely don’t want on a sunny summer day. I had some cask ales and crisps and was very satisfied to come back again, but really just wanted to be outside in the sun. People from all walks of life stood and sat about and mingled with good energy. The next time I came I was in search for the Loo and walked past it emerging onto a vast patio garden full of fixed umbrellas, awnings seats and flowers. Children played ,hens and stags partied and still there was enough room outside for a few more groups! It was sunny, dogs barked and beautiful plates of food floated back and forth to tables. I think there might have been more seats in the garden than inside! I never knew it was there. This time when I went we strolled in for a pint and some warmth after a successful trip to the farmers market. My wife and I played cards by the fireplace with a pint and the dog enjoyed some healthy biscuits. We reminded ourselves to make a booking for the Chateaubriand-for-two. Our afternoon was increased in pleasure by our attendant Ciro. Ciro had the kindness and honest energy you want from all people. We conversed about travel and weather and watched as he balanced just the right amount of conversation without neglecting any other people too. To be honest we always intend to eat at Sun Inn but still haven’t got to it, but all the food looks very good. Sun, rain snow or grey, Sun Inn is one of the top spots to relax and enjoy for any situation.
The Sun Inn is our local and always a great place to have a drink with friends and family. We had dinner on this occasion and the food was excellent - we’ll definitely make a habit of this. Special shoutout to Morrigan who was a fantastic waitress!Food: 5/5
Very lucky to have The Sun Inn as our local. Where better to enjoy an afternoon drink in the sunshine than in beautiful Barnes, the staff are always so welcoming and accommodating. They pour a great Guinness, so my husband says, and they make a cracking Bloody Mary, that’ll be mine! Special thanks to the charming Ciro, who always makes us smile.
A warm and friendly welcome for our group of four. Outside covered seating was comfortable. The food was quick to arrive and really tasty.Food: 5/5
