For the taste and authenticity best local Thai restaurant. I am an Asian and think their portion is normal but may not be up to the UK standard. They can do better by increasing the portion as food is delicious and I always can eat more of whatever they serve. They don't serve street style Thai food nor sugar charged westernised Thai food so if you are used to those you will be disappointed. Their food is more of the sort that you get in a higher end hotel/restaurant in Bangkok. My Thai friend likes here. Service varies unfortunately. Most of them are Thai and some are very friendly and efficient but some could be brutal giving the impression that they don't want to be there. Not cheap but I'm happy to pay for the quality of food they serve.
Good Thai food but pretty expensive. The atmosphere is nice and the decor is quite lovely. It gets busy on Thursdays - Sundays what do you expect? but during the other weeknights you'll get full staff attention, quick service and great food. I highly recommend the Pandan Chicken crispy chicken wrapped and cooked and then served in pandan leaves. It's also the closest Thai restaurant to Wimbledon station, which is a plus. If you're looking for post-cinema food or a nice family meal then this is a great choice. It also has a reasonably-priced lunch and dinner set menu.
Food is of good quality and tasty. Didnt have any problems with service either. Two stars only due to the really small portions and pretty much 1/3 to double the price of what should have been a normal portion. Main course was less than 5 small bites of chicken with bits of vegetables and sauce all beautifully i must say decorated in a small plate. Rice was another small ball, maximum 2 spoonfulls of rice. Rediculously overpriced for what one gets!!!!
The food is good, but not fantastic, and it is really, really overpriced. It may be one of the best Thai restaurant in Wimbledon, but that isn't much. You can eat better Thai cuisine in a similar setting for maybe 25% cheaper in the central London. Bad value for money.
Bad service, staff was rude never smile. Lady Manager was push the Custromer to order more food by saying to the Custromer that they order very little and not even have a main court, we was ordering a lunch deal which it have starter and main court and one side of noodel, we only 2 people just want to have a light lunch I don't see the point why you are so pushy to Custromer. Some of the food you don't have it in your menus and that's why we don't order much. Anyway We have ordered one more food and we ordered papaya salad the lady manager not even ask us what typ of papaya salad we want but just want to sell the food by giving us papaya salad with preawns. My friends is vegetarian and I have told her, we both were looking to each other like why they don't ask us before they cook. Even I want to order more but the service was so bad bring us starter but have no plats to eat and left us wait with out explaining. We keep asking a few time the waiters was race her voice and face annoying face to us and then ignoring. Not feeling welcoming at all, the waiters keep looking at us with judging eyes. It's used to be ok before back last 2year, I go there a few times with many of my friends if it Europe Custromer they seem to looking after better then asain or they own country people. Not recommend and better be clear when you want to order food ask and tell them properly.
A very nice local Thai restaurant, situated near Wimbledon station. Good portion sizes with reasonable prices. The real authentic Thai cuisine and friendly service. Recommended.
My Partner and I got a takeaway from here and it was terrible. The portions wouldn't fill a baby shrew and my partners "chicken and cashew nuts" contained more onions than both chicken and cashew combined. Go somewhere else
Absolutely hated it - could've done with no star. Went on a Friday night and had to wait for an hour after ordering to be served. We Had to repeatedly ask for tap water. Very expensive for the quality of the food they serve. Absolute no no!
Let's be honest. This restaurant is average. Below average actually. Poor customer service and average food. Beautiful decor though.
An ok Thai joint, serving standard Thai dishes. Meat was not the best, often overcooked.
