Okay, I know the place is called Sugar Rush and to expect to eat something of a sugary nature. The desserts served here are simply to sweet. It was so sweet I felt physically sick afterward, but maybe that's just me. Another really annoying things about this place is that it's located in the same premises as some kind of takeaway shop and the smoke just gets everywhere. There's so much smoke and heat, it's simply oppressive just sitting on site to eat and I was sitting right next to a open door too, Can fault the portion sizes though, which are generous. Nor can I fault the staff who were friendly and helpful.
Ordered a delivery which was 3 hours late about 2 weeks ago, when I got the order my cheesecake was mouldy. I don’t normally review places but due to this COVID 19 situation I felt it my duty as citizen to warn other people or the hygiene standards this place has, the complainant was dealt with by a very unprofessional manner and confused staff. Worst dessert place in Glasgow.
Awful coffee. Burnt my face off. No power points for chargers . Smells funny. Kebab worker / owner continually shouting across the customer area - seems very aggressive. Tea spoons are the cheapest Chinese imports. I cannot recommend this place
FOOD IS GOOD ...but guy on a counter need to learn manners, politeness and patience and some customer service skills .... treating customer as if he is giving free food ... wanted to tell him on his face but i think this is better platform .... big healthy guy with topi on n beard
Great fresh food, wee worth a visit. Nutella cookie + Falooda, yummy
One of the most usual places I have visited over the years. Food and service has been great but recent visits gas been a bit underwhelming due to either service or item being out of stock. That being said it's not based on one visit. Food does tastes great when fresh. There are plenty of choices to choose from and selection which tempt you try everything and you should but recommend calling in prior to visiting. Service has been also up and down but overall satisfactory. Be mindful of parking as due to sheesha bar on the back make it busier to park but due to covid19 you wouldn't find this an issue.
This place is absolutely disgusting and should not be allowed to run in the first place. We ordered 2 ice blast from here to which we where informed 20 minutes after ordering that they “did not have the i teams that we wanted” even though they where listed on the menu. This was not a massive problem and I politely asked for a refund and for them to cancel the order, whilst on the phone I spoke to THREE different people all who did not have a clue what they where talking about. After waiting on the phone for five minutes confused, I was told I could not have a refund and if I wanted one I had to call just eat myself !!! When I questioned this they hung up the phone whilst I was talking! Worst customer service I have ever experienced.NEVER order from this place, would leave 0 stars if I could.
Went at around 9:55 today, me and friends ordered milkshakes with very polite attitudes. The change given was a ripped five pound note, very nicely my friend asked for change in good condition, the member of staff responded with a horrible attitude swearing at as and telling us to go to the bank. We will not be going back there, neither will we be recommending the shop to anyone else.
Probably the best dessert place I have ever been to. Extremely delicious desserts from smoothies to melted chocolate brownies. I really love this place and the staff there are extremely friendly. Sugar rush is not the cheapest but not very expensive either. I Love their Menu as it has a great selection of things to choose from. This is a great place to hang out with family and friends and I highly reccomend coming here!
Been waiting for over one hour for 4 desserts. One has arrived so far and one came burnt and so had to send it back. Also got the wrong flavour of ice-cream. Still waiting for two desserts to come + the one they are making again. Two guys sitting next to us have been waiting 30 minutes to get two slices of cake cake Leaving now and thoroughly disappointed. Gentleman with curly hair was very helpful and kept asking the kitchen staff about our order.
