Amazing bakery for coeliacs! I’m so happy to have this gem nearby for whenever I have cravings for something sweet. They have so much variety and change what is available on weekly basis, so you never get tired and I love that they have all allergens clearly labelled for all their products. They do tend to have less stock towards the end of the day, so I recommend going early on as you’ll have more choice. Also it is worth mentioning that there’s no indoor seating available, but the Meadows is of close proximity with plenty of benches available. One of the best gluten free bakeries I have personally tried! The staff are super friendly and their treats delicious! Definitely recommend!

My wife ordered a birthday cake for me using Sugar Daddy’s Bakery. She said communication was excellent, with quick replies, and they were very accommodating. Everything was so convenient and the process of ordering the cake was simple. The cake was very professionally made and it tasted great. When we picked up the cake we decided to also get a cinnamon bun blondie and a cookie pie slice. Both of these were incredibly tasty, probably nicer than the cake. The staff were very friendly when they served us. The shop itself is fairly small but they do have a good selection of sweet treats and some savoury options. They also serve a selection of hot drinks. The shop is situated well, being next to the meadows.

Sugar Daddy's Bakery not only has put a lot of time and effort into the look and design of their shop but the cakes themselves too. Every cake looks beautiful, is displayed nicely and taste fantastic. Each food item is clearly marked what allergies it caters for. Fantastic if you are gluten free, vegan or have allergies.

Absolutely lovely staff - such a nice and welcoming atmosphere they’ve created. Recently being diagnosed with celiac, it’s honestly so wonderful that I kind find cakes and breads that are as; if not better than the gluten options. The cake was moist, and the donuts were airy and the cookies were the perfect combination between crunchy and gooey. For a bakery in Edinburgh, the prices are unerring; located near the city centre, it’s perfect for convenience. I came at mid day, with only one other customer there as I arrived. However, as I left, there was a large queue of all ages, readily waiting for the array of fresh scones and pasties. It really is a place for everyone. My family and I ate my chosen goodies in minutes!! I’m definitely coming back here when I can!

This is the best bakery ever! As someone who is gluten and dairy free, finding Sugar Daddy's is like walking into heaven. I ordered a cake from them for my partner's birthday while we're visiting Edinburgh and it's SO GOOD. The sponge is fluffy and light but very moist, the icing is light and creamy and pairs perfectly with the lemon drizzle and curd inside. It was also beautifully decorated and I couldn't be happier with it. The people who run it are really friendly and were helpful both via email and in the shop. We've already been back for some incredible pastries and a couple of cookie sandwiches and will probably be back tomorrow too!

I ordered a gluten free red velvet that exceeded my expectations in this place. Lovely gluten free bakery with a great and affordable variety of cakes. They also have pastries and bread. People working there are extremely helpful and kind. A great place also to get a takeaway coffee and a wee savoury snack and eat it at the meadows- something for the bucket list!

Rave! Amazingly delicious baked goods that happen to be gluten free. Tender spongy cakes fresh and delicious. Lots of variety and creative flavors

Great communication, easy to place an order on the online form. The team came back to me outside the stated hours which meant I was able to have confirmation sooner. The pick up was simple, nice coffee and enjoyed a red velvet truffle on collection. Lovely staff. A positive experience and more importantly awesome cake ! Thank you Sugar Daddy's x

SugarDaddy's made cupcakes and a cake for our wedding reception, and our guests absolutely loved it! It was all completely gluten free, and our guests with gluten allergies were so appreciative. They were even able to make us an additional cake at the last minute to celebrate a guest's birthday at our rehearsal dinner. We highly recommend stopping by this bakery and trying some of their delicious items.

I love this place! I'm vegetarian and have a nut allergy so I usually can't eat from most bakeries. Here though I can eat most of the delicious food on offer. The cupcakes/brownies/cookies are unbelievably good. I shall definitely be back again next time I'm in Edinburgh
