This is one of the nicest campsites we've ever stayed on - absolutely STUNNING views right across the South Downs and then the sea too in the other direction; so quiet and peaceful. My husband pointed out there wasn't a pylon for as far as you can see (though there is a phone mast far on the horizon which means you get amazing 4G reception so I even got a bit of work done instead of having to go to and fro!). The owners couldn't have been nicer and more helpful - we stayed for two weeks so got chatting over the daily wood round. So many lovely little places nearby - villages with traditional fetes; lovely pubs and the Lewes art trail was on while we were there, so open studios dotted about the countryside too. A real gem - definitely coming back!
