"A hidden gem located in the heart of Fitzrovia, just a short walk away from the tourist traps of Oxford Circus. Goodge Place Market showcases a selection of scrumptious street food served by hawkers who are at the top of their game. Settle down in the nearby park Crabtree Fields, for a spot of people watching while you eat, then take a slow wander around to visit one or two or three! of the many nearby bars and pubs."

Great for a quick bite on the run! We had the Korean fried chicken platter. Was enough for two for lunch and was absolutely delicious!
Small and busy lunchtime market. I had Pud Thai noodles & peanuts today. Good portion and the price is affordable. There are six market stalls today. Highly recommended. The location for this popular lunchtime market on what3words is /// roses.puppy.wing Thank you
I love bao buns so stopped by here during my lunch break and ordered a mushroom bun. The server was super quick to put my meal together, and payment was taken by card they don’t accept cash here, it’s card only!. The bun was fluffy and quite tasty and had lots of sriracha on it as per my request, along with pickled cucumbers, crushed nuts, cabbage and the usual trimmings, but while it was very filling I’d have to say the bun itself is just far too big. I get that the giant bao bun is kinda their whole thing, but practically speaking it’s too large to just pick up and eat so you need a fork, which sort of defeats the purpose of buns. The mushroom filling was a bit too watery and ended up making the bun very soggy by the end; if a bun is small then you generally finish it quicker, thus not giving it time to get soggy. It was an okay lunch but I definitely prefer the Hoxton Beach Falafel stall for lunch in this market and would be unlikely to get one of these buns again.
Came here on a Friday afternoon - this market is tiny, with about 6-7 stalls packed around a church. There was a fair range of food from Korean to South American; I got rice with beef/chicken/pork and arepas for £6.50 so, central London market prices This place can get crowded, and the space between the stalls at the side can potentially become a chokepoint. There were some attempts to make some concrete ledges into seating areas but there isn't enough space and, really, you won't want to hang around at peak lunch hour.
Amazing food in most case. I can strongly recommend chicken with halloumi and humus. Big, good, reasonably priced.
