Argyle on tour! Just scraped a draw against The Imps!. Super real ale pub both before and after the match. Nice hospitality from staff and a really good atmosphere. You just need to be fit enough to climb the steep hill up past the cathedral to enjoy it!!

Stunning traditional pub near the Cathedral quarter. Huge selection of pump real ales with friendly, polite and knowledgeable staff. Busy but enough room to find a seat and space including a outdoor courtyard. Excellent choices and very impressive.
Great selection of well kept cask ale. I've never seen so many pump clips in one place. The walls and ceiling are absolutely covered in them.
Decent real-ale pub with plenty of guest ales on rotation at all times. Wood/coal fire kicking out some right heat, as well as a ceiling covered in beer fonts beer pump clip badges. Would go again.

Just arrived here in Lincoln for a few days and found this amazing pub. Not pounced around with or tarted up, just a lovely Pub, 8 real ales, log fires, a true piece of paradise. All other pubs please take note!! And on a Monday night all seats taken. A gem
A cosy traditional Lincoln pub for locals... and the rest of us. We went in on 23rd Dec, a pub our parents once drank in. It's friendly, welcoming with a great variety of decent beers! A must go to when in the Shire capital.
Broad range of local ales kept impeccably. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the locals make you feel like you’re an old friend. Best pint of Landlord I’ve enjoyed in a long time.
