Love this gem. The Cardinal's Hat always has a great selection of local ales and a wide range of wonderful wine and gin. Every visit, the pub has been busy but well-managed. I highly recommend this place for its atmosphere and great service
If you like a place to drink with history, in the middle of a tourist centre but without outrageous prices this is your place. Try the Cardinals platter make sure you are hungry as the serve is large for two and a bottle of lazy bones red to wash it down! Amazing pub, fantastic history and staff to match! Highly recommended!
First rate beer selection in this laid back pub in a very historic building. Well run place during Covid restrictions. Good music too.

So glad we went in for a drink or two here, what an amazing place!! Friendly staff, Great selection of beers, ciders ect. The decor inside is amazing with plenty of rooms. Really good atmosphere in here and a lovely historical building. Would seriously recommend a visit here if you are in Lincoln.
Great to be back at the Hat!!! As usual great beer, wine and platters enjoyed. We have so missed the the cardinals hat We will be back soon
