Past few months I had same service done in there. Today I went and lady told me she can't so it. So politely I told her it is not first time when I am asking for that particular service and I had it done many times before but with another member of staff. Nothing changed that. She still told me she will not do it and if I had it done before there that is mean it was mistake. And I can go somewhere else. Funny thing is how come this "mistake" worked many times.
Went in by mistake to drop a Hermes parcel off. Could not see much from the outside and when I walked in I pretty much got shouted at by the man behind the counter. Only 2 people at a time which is fair enough in these times but be polite in enforcing the message. Won’t be going back that’s for sure.
This is a wonderful post office and shop. The staff are always helpful and respectful and they have a fabulous selection of greeting cards.
Don't expect friendly service. I've tried for almost 6 years to at least get a smile out of the usual staff, only to be met with attitude and rudeness. Functionally, they've been fine. Some lost parcels here and there not had any losses when I drop off to the depot, and they told my husband 2nd class signed for doesn't exist... but the vast majority turn up where they should. I'm grateful for the work they do, but I'm really fed up of the hostile service now and will be avoiding the branch whenever possible.
5 star service. I am sending parcels and letters almost every day and the staf is always good with me . And what I saw , they are very helpful with the other people as well. Explaining everything. Great staff . They deserve 5 star always. Specially in these difficult days. They are key workers. Thank you very much for the great job .
Awful. I agree with the other review, the lady he’s referring to is always rude and has a nasty attitude. I took a parcel there for them to try and charge me for a large parcel, I explained it was within measurements of small as I had checked it, only for them to tell me that it didn’t fit in their box, I suggest they invest in a tape measure. I took it to another post office who agreed it was well within the small parcel measurements and sent it with no problem. I will now be reporting Stretton post office. I always hear negative comments about this branch and I can assure you that they are justified!
Tried to send a parcel with a pre-paid label attached and was told that they didn’t accept these labels and I would have to take it to the depot to send, or I could pay them now to do it?? Confused me a little as I’ve sent the same kind of parcel with the same label on before now problem but thought perhaps they’d changed their policy or something so fair enough. When I took the parcel to the depot, the man there explained that that post office probably wouldn’t accept it because they don’t get any money for a pre-paid label. I agree that one woman that works here is particularly miserable but it’s never really bothered me in the past because I just need things to be posted and you don’t know what people have got going on in their life but I’ve never had a cheerful exchange there
Totally agree with the other reviews. Took some Ebay parcels in to post... the same lady with dark hair and glasses said they were too busy to do them as there were only 2 members of staff working!! There was ONE other customer in the shop!! Really abrupt and rude.... I went somewhere else. Customer service of a dog poop!!
Always helpful and polite staff, very good and clear posted signs for social distancing measures, well ventilated too so you can feel safe popping in there.
Very rude staff, absolutely no customer service. Never had a smile after many times of going in. Act like the customers are an inconvenience
