There was an excellent choice of 4 different soups as well as other lovely looking dishes of generous portions. I saw a fajitas and burgers garnished with corn chips, salad and watermelon-it looked lovely. We had a choice of pea and ham soup, chicķen broth, Moroccan chick pea and one other choice of soup. Food is beautifully prepared and served from friendly staff. I saw lots of people I used to teach! I highly recommend this restaurant.

As always, it's a delight to visit Streetlights for a tea break on a busy day in town. A friendly welcome and a wonderful choice of cakes to go with tea ! All of the food is really good, portions are very generous and excellent value.The staff are always attentive, great atmosphere and I always enjoy my visits. If going to Castle Douglas and you need a pick me up then Streetlights is a must.

Great local coffee shop with good baked goods, coffee and lunch. It's a 'homey' atmosphere, which goes with the town, and has very nice staff. If you're staying nearby or even just driving through, it's a great stop-in.
