I live in the South of England but go to Leo for my frames because he is talented, he provides superb advice and uses top quality materials. People like him are hard to find and under appreciated. To Mrs One Star below, CHILL. Phone or text beforehand or wait half an hour and go back after his lunch break. He is a very decent human being.
We have had lots of pictures framed by Leo and it’s always a top quality job. So great to get advice from an artist with the eye on what would look best. Friendly and efficient service at a fair price, can’t ask for more then that
Living 100 miles away, I could do with somebody closer to me but I wouldn't risk it. Top quality frames and service, he always know what is best for my pictures when I am in doubt. He even helped with my exhibition mounting!
The previous review is most unfair. I have had several things done by him, all to a high degree of satisfaction. He works on his own, and has more work than he can cope with sometimes. It is always as well to ring him before you go and then he will arrange for you to come at a time when he is definitely going to be there.
Leo framed a set of prints by my late sister. He gave great advice on how to mount and frame them and handled the whole job with great sensitivity. They look beautiful. Thank you.
THREE times we have made the 40mile round trip with a picture to be framed, only to find - EVERY TIME - a note from ‘Leo’ on the door telling us when he will next be open. Despite having checked his opening hours every time after the first fruitless trip. We won’t be returning, he clearly doesn’t work much or want business.
