Brilliant stylist, Charlotte, is part of a highly professional team. The staff are warm and welcoming and it is a pleasure to visit this salon. The best cut and blow dry for miles around.

Its now been nearly two years since my last visit to streaks ahead and I'm still having to fork out stupid amounts of money to try and repair the damage made by them. Ive had my hair relaxed multiple times, always except once by the formally competent members of this salon. However last time I had Aimie. She smothered the chemical solution all over my hair... and my scalp and forehead. A tingling sensation on my head then appeared, and when I bought it up there was no concern raised from my hairdresser about it and so I Naively allowed her to continue. Over the next few months tuffs of hair starting growing around my hairline and around the crown of my head, as well as in other random spots. My hair had all broken off. EVERY SINGLE hairdresser I have spoken too since has been shocked by not only the condition of my hair but by the fact this chemical solution was put on my scalp and forehead. One told me I was lucky it was probably a mild solution as it could have permanently burnt my scalp. I then went back a year later when I came back from uni, not to complain but to very politely ask how I could help the condition of my hair. As my hair was so ruined it hadn't grown very much and the consequences of the poor hairdressing were still evident. The receptionist was as lovely as ever, as well as one of the other hairdressers, who started to give advice. Then Aimie came bounding round the corner and getting very defensive; a strange attitude to take to someone who wasn't accusing them of anything. After giving multiple reasons of how this was my fault I was offered a deep treatment, which obviously I declined as you couldn't pay me enough money for them to touch my hair again. I then wrote them a letter asking for a refund of the 80/90 pounds I had paid for my hair to be destroyed, and explaining I didn't appreciate the attitude and manor I was spoken to with when I came in. After FINALLY getting a response it left me just as angry as when I left the salon. Firstly I got told i should have contacted them sooner; unfortunately due to the abnormally slow rate that my hair was now growing at, it took a while to see the full extent of the damage. Even if I had rang up they wouldn't have been able to see the damage to my hair and it would have been pointless. Then I was informed again that it was my lifestyle choices that made my hair fall out and not in fact the chemicals that had been allowed to seep into my scalp. My after care was the same, if not better than the previous times I had this treatment done, the only difference was that they had always previously kept the solution away from my scalp. Not only did I not get my money back, but still up to now I am having to spend hundreds of pounds on deep treatments and shampoos/conditioners. Cheers streaks ahead.
