We had the pleasure of staying one of the new lodges on the park to celebrate my Father In Law’s 70th birthday. The backdrop of the park is breathtaking. The lodge is stunning & well catered for in terms of facilities inside. The hot tub was a treat. The staff are all very friendly, a special thanks to Wilma, Maggie, Hamish & Derek for making our stay extra special. Would recommend to all.
My partner and I stayed in the new Forest Pods at the park and had a lovely week. We work at another park owned by the same company so it was nice to be the guest for the week. We were welcomed by the lovely manager Wilma who immediately grabbed treats for our two wee dogs. She was extremely friendly throughout our stay and our dogs couldn’t get enough of her. Would highly recommend this quiet, gorgeous park to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
My family and I just spent three nights here in one of their Forest Pods and we had a fantastic time. The pods themselves are brilliantly designed, very comfortable and cozy, and with a private hot-tub what else could you want?! The staff are all very friendly and spare no effort in making you feel welcomed, especially Wilma. On our first night our pod’s internet wasn’t connecting and within an hour a technician was there to resolve it. First class service. The location is just awesome and we absolutely LOVED our afternoon walk in the nearby Pucks Glen. If you stay here do not miss Pucks Glen, just magical! I highly recommend!
Just returned from a well needed trip to Stratheck Holiday park. We stayed in pod number 1 with the kids and dog and had an amazing time. The staff Wilma and Colette were amazing and couldn’t have done enough for us, always making sure we were ok and taking time out of their day to keep the kids and dog amused. They really made us feel at home and were really attentive to us. Having access to the swimming and entertainment at hunters quay was also a bonus as we spent a couple of days there also. Would definitely recommend and will be booking again in the near future.
Second time we have been here. Staff always helpful and happy to help. It would have been nice to have a retractable roof over the hot tub though as it makes it hard to use in the rain. Would recommend visiting pucks Glenn for an amazing walk. The Coylet has amazing food and very friendly staff.Rooms: 5/5
We recently stayed in one of the pods with a hot tub. The pod was excellent with everything you might need to enjoy a relaxing break. Surprisingly spacoius with more than enough room for a family of two adults and two kids. Nearby activities: Nearby Puck's Glen is a fantastic walk with great views of waterfalls.
Stayed here for 2 nights was a great weekend apart from the chlorine burns on our skin we all got from the hot tubRooms: 5/5
Lovely relaxing place, great for kids and dogs. Lovely walks. Great friendly staff.Rooms: 5/5
Stayed in one of those new hot tub pods which was surprisingly spacious for 4 and excellently built. The park was good in condition, well maintained and pet friendly. There are several activities nearby such as the pool nearby village and a small clubhouse. All in all, an ideal week away for a quiet and peaceful holiday.Rooms: 5/5
The new lodges built here are absolutely amazing for a short break away. They are so comfortable and perfect for a romantic getaway with your other half. The lodges have been designed brilliantly to maximise every bit of space inside to have a purpose or function. Everthing you can think of has been provided inside from toiletries, kitchen utensils, cleaning materials and loads of towels / house coats / slippers. The nice touch was the massive blankets to cosy up on the couch to watch the free netflix and amazon. The lodge comes with a hot tub which was spotless however my only gripe would be the decking area surrounding it is extremely tight so opening and closing is not the easiest. Also they could do with a couple of hooks to hang your house coats on near the hot tub. Rooms: Lodges were brand spanking new. Nearby activities: Enjoyed a few local trails that were about, especially Puck Glen. Safety: Park staff where absolutely brilliant. We stayed when it was freezing cold and also snowing however this didn't stop staff clearing snow and ice from our lodge decking and surrounding areas daily. Walkability: You need to drive to almost everywhere. Food & drinks: Unfortunately in the off season, the onsite bar / restaurant is closed during the week
